Embassy of the United States regrets the incident; Davenport: There's no point to comment on fabrications in the media (Blic)

US Embassy in Serbia today expressed regret over the violence, fanaticism and hooliganism at last night's football match Serbia-Albania in Belgrade. "It is regrettable that another sport event has turned into a place for the expression of nationalism and violence. Sport events are no place for this kind of fanaticism and hooliganism," was said from the Embassy.

Defense is ready and we expect trial to begin soon (Tanjug, TV Most, Blic)

BELGRADE - Deputy leader of the Citizens’ Initiative SDP Ksenija Bozovic said Thursday that she expected the trial against the party leader Oliver Ivanovic to begin before the end of 2015, pointing out that his defense was fully prepared for the trial.

Bozovic told Tanjug that the defense had presented all evidence Oliver Ivanovic had and the names of his witnesses to the court within the statutory deadline, adding that she expected the trial to begin before year’s end.

Mass grave of Kosovo Serbs in Djakovica/Gjakove? (B92, Blic)

The Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor of Serbia and EULEX will verify information on the existence of a mass grave of Serbian victims in the village Piskota in Gjakove/Gjakovica municipality, the Office of the War Crimes Prosecutor in Belgrade announced today.

According to the press release, it is suspected that the grave contains the bodies of people killed during the armed conflict in Kosovo in 1998 and 1999.

The Serbian prosecution has information that the location could possibly contain the remains of victims of KLA crimes in the "Likovci" prison camp.

Sueddeutsche Zeitung: Most jihadists are coming from Kosovo and Bosnia (Blic)

German newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung mentions that Kosovo, from where in the wars in the Middle East has already been killed more than 40 people, and Bosnia with more than 30 killed, are leading countries for the recruitment of jihadists in the Balkans. The paper points out that Serbia is undertaking measures, which provide even the ten-year sentence, in order to impede or prevent Islamic groups to recruit the fighters.

Marko Djuric today in Zubin Potok (Blic)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric today will visit kindergarten in Zubin Potok, which was built by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

The newly constructed kindergarten is located next to the old one and will be able to accommodate 60 children; it was announced by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.

Djuric will also visit the water system in the construction in Gazivode near Zubin Potok, which will supply the municipalities of Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Mitrovica with drinking water.

Reichel: Full normalization is not possible without the status of Kosovo (Blic)

German Special Envoy for the South-Easternt Europe Ernst Reichel said yesterday, at the Belgrade Security Forum, that full reconciliation between Belgrade and Pristina is not possible without settling the status of Kosovo, whereas the Head of the EU Office in Kosovo Samuel Zbogar said that there is no agreement in the EU over the status of Kosovo.

In the same time representatives of Belgrade and Pristina talked about the need for normalization of relations as a precondition for better life of Serbs and Albanians.
