Serbia will not have a negotiating position for Chapter 35, which deals in the negotiations with the EU with the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina. This chapter does not replace the dialogue on the normalization of relations and therefore there is no need for a negotiating position.

The Chapter 35 will most likely be the first one to open in the negotiations between Serbia and the EU, which, according to all indications and from Brussels and Belgrade, should begin by the end of the year.

It is quite certain that the President of the Government of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will attend a football match for the European Championship 2016 in Elbasan between the teams of Albania and Serbia, after the Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama "cancelled invitation" for Hashim Thaci, Danas learned in political sources close to the authorities in Pristina.

Blerim Shala, the Coordinator of the Pristina team for the Brussels negotiations with Belgrade and independent MP in the Kosovo Assembly said in an interview for Danas that negotiations were very difficult process and that there were a lot of problems with the inherited mentality and the transitions in both countries.

You are negotiator with the continuity of Rambouillet to Brussels. Is there a common thread for all previous negotiations?

It is not up to NATO to decide on the structure, mandate and mission of the Kosovo Security Force. Future of the KSF is an internal matter of local Kosovo institutions. NATO currently supports the development of the KSF in the framework of their original mission and mandate, through the NATO Liaison and Advisory Team.

I am very happy because of the great global support we have received since the beginning of this process. We started in January with our positive information campaign, focused on Kosovo's needs related to education, science, climate change, culture.

Janko Veselinovic, a representative of the Movement for the turnaround (Pokret za Preokret), asked Maja Gojkovic, president of the Serbian Parliament to urgently convene a session of the Serbian Parliament in which the MPs will learn the contents of the agreement signed in Brussels on 25 August. The office of Parliament President, however, reminded Veselinovic to the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure.

The name "Republic of Kosovo" is not stated in the agreement on the energy sector, which was recently signed by the representatives of Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels, but it is written in the so-called "disclaimer", i.e. statement on disclaimer of liability which is located in the main text of the agreement. The part states views of both sides on the property issues in Kosovo.

The prime ministers of Serbia and Albania Aleksandar Vucic and Edi Rama, in the TV Show "Okruzenje", agreed that it might be too late that mutual dialogue compensate everything what was lost in the last quarter of a century because of poor relations between Serbia and Albania, but it is evidently a time to overcome barriers.

Ljubomir Maric, Minister of Local Government Administration in Kosovo, announces that preparations for the statute of the Community / Association of Serbian municipalities commenced. The statute will be drafted in cooperation with lawyers and a team of international experts and first version will be ready soon.
