Kremlin spokesman denies that Putin will visit Belgrade? (Tanjug)

Spokesperson of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov could not confirm whether Vladimir Putin's visit to Serbia is being prepared. Earlier on Tuesday, Russian Ambassador in Belgrade Aleksandr Chepurin said that the visit of Putin to Serbia is expected in October or November. According to TASS, when asked if certain specific deadlines for the visit had been set, Peskov replied "No, not for now." Peskov also said that for now there were no concrete dates for such a visit to be realized, nor has it been confirmed that it is already being prepared. Exchange of territories is wrong idea (KIM Radio)

Rada Trajkovic and Nexhmedin Spahiu took part in the RTV Kim talk show Sporazum. During the show Spahiu said “it’s a high time for an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina to be reached, while Trajkovic opined that in her view “the solution is the continuation of negotiations, elections and a new team that would not offer delimitation as an option”. Although the topics that would be discussed at the upcoming meeting of the Presidents of Serbia and Kosovo are unknown, Nexhmedin Spahiu thinks that they would reach some sort of compromise.

Joksimovic: If there is no solution, there would be no status quo (Tanjug)

Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy, Aleksandra Joksimovic told Tanjug news agency that Belgrade-Pristina negotiations are entering the final phase and the picture would be clearer in September whether there would be a legally binding agreement on normalization of relations between the two sides. Hahn without answer on "territory exchange", but mentions new deadline (B92, RFE)

EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn did not directly reply to RFE's question regarding the idea of "delimitation" to solve the Kosovo issue.

B92 reported, quoting RFE, that he stressed that in order to resolve any bilateral conflict, any possible solution must contribute to the wider stability of the region and should  not be at the expense of others in the region.

Vucic to Keefe - "Serbia won't be humiliated" (Tanjug)

"US and Germany are at odds about Kosovo partition" (Tanjug, B92)

American Wall Street Journal (WSJ) daily and Brussels portal EUobserver reported on the informal meeting of the EU foreign ministers on August 30-31 in Vienna. The American paper said that US and Germany were on the opposite sides when it came to a plan about border change between Serbia and Kosovo and solving one of the last major territorial disputes in Europe.
