“Serbia would most probably participate in a meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers and membership candidate states in Helsinki,” Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said Tanjug news agency reports. The news agency recalled that outgoing EU High Representative Federica Mogherini invited Pristina representatives to this event as well.

Dacic added he would consult with the President Aleksandar Vucic about Serbia’s participation, underlining “a Gymnich format” would be respected in a meeting.

Serbian Ministry of Culture condemned placing of Kosovo flag on the medieval Serbian fortress in Novo Brdo, Tanjug news agency reported.

The Ministry noted that Pristina institutions “in the absence of their own cultural heritage reach out to seizing others”. Referring to Kosovo flag the Ministry said that “that colorful fabric with unclear symbolic meaning could serve to nothing else but wiping off the dust from the pearl of the Serbian medieval spirituality and European as well as world cultural heritage.”

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said he would announce next week the name of the 15^th state that revoked decision on recognizing Kosovo, B92 reports today.

Dacic told RTS at this moment less than 100 countries recognize Kosovo.

Commenting on the latest provocation in Kosovo and Metohija, where Kosovo flag was placed on the remains of the Orthodox Church of Saint Nikola in Novo Brdo and medieval Serbian fortress, Dacic said the international community by Resolution 1244 obliged to preserve the Serbian cultural and historical  heritage in Kosovo.

Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko told Belgrade based TV Prva this morning that Kosovo is an issue that needs additional international community activity and that Russia is ready to assist in establishing or renewing Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Botsan-Kharchenko says that Russia is ready to help the dialogue if Belgrade seeks help, primarily at the UN Security Council, as well as in Russia's relations with the EU and Washington.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric told RTS today Serbs should “monolithic and united” take part in the Kosovo elections, Danas daily reports. Djuric added he is convinced it would be shown, based on the results of Srpska Lista, how much Serbs are attached to their state and how much they want unity and concord with Belgrade.

Djuric also underlined “that the Serbs may have thousand and one political differences in other parts of the country, but in Kosovo we must be monolithic, united and harmonious in the performance towards Albanians”.

If elections are called in Kosovo the meeting in Paris would most probably be postponed and won’t take place in September, Belgrade-based daily Blic reports referring to diplomatic sources.

During a recent visit to Serbia, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he would organize the meeting with Serbian and Kosovo leaders, as well as German Chancellor Angela Merkel in order to “find a global and sustainable solution”.

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic told Prva TV “for Pristina authorities the Serbs are always to blame.”

Dacic added he has no information that would confirm accusations of the Kosovo FM Behgjet Pacolli who claims that diplomatic office of Pristina in Copenhagen was attacked by the Serbian citizens in Denmark.

Enver Hoxhaj should find the strength to squarely face the truth and to learn the facts from numerous local and international, scientific and professional sources, the Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information said in a response to Hoxhaj’s statement that ''Serbia is manipulating with facts by appropriating church objects as its own.''

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic said his ministry continues with strong activities that should prevent Kosovo becoming member of Interpol, RTS reports.

He told Tanjug news agency that in cooperation with other state bodies, the ministry since last year’s Interpol General Assembly session in Dubai runs campaign and talks with representatives of the states that voted for Kosovo admission to Interpol, and with those that abstained or voted against it.

Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic reacting to the Skopje court decision that conditions have not been met to extradite Tomor Morina to Serbia said that any political interference in the law always brings new injustice, RTS reports.

Stefanovic added the court’s decision speaks that they have trampled on the essence of the international law and deeply hurt the memories on all innocent victims of suspected Morina.
