Departure of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who announced she would not run for the new mandate, would have an impact on everything that happens in Europe, including Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Regional Cooperation Council Secretary General Goran Svilanovic believes, Blic daily reports. Belgrade is ready to continue dialogue with Pristina, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told European Parliament delegation on Monday, BETA news agency reports. “Serbia is ready to continue the dialogue even in the situation with heightened political and security tensions which are primarily unfavorable to the Serbs in Kosovo,” Vucic is quoted as saying in a press release following the meeting with the delegation headed by European Parliament (EP) official Eduard Kukan. Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Rasim Ljajic told Podgorica-based daily Pobjeda that “sustainable and long-term solution” is needed for Kosovo issue. Ljajic recalled that his SDPS party proposed three-phase plan for resolving the Kosovo issue.
