The session of the Serbian Council for National Security, convened by President Aleksandar Vucic, started a little after 08:30 hours CET on Friday in Belgrade. Serbian government official condemns desecration of memorial in Velika Hoca (TV N1, BETA, KIM Radio)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric condemned today the desecration of a memorial to the murdered and kidnapped Serbs from Orahovac municipality during the conflict in 1999. Djuric said that the desecration of the memorial in the village of Velika Hoca outside Orahovac was “another mindless attack on a memorial for local Serbs who were murdered during the conflict in Kosovo”. “Vandals toppled the cross on the memorial and brought down the flagpole flying the Serbian flag.

Fight for Trepca (Kontakt plus radio)

The registration of Trepca as a public company is a matter of days according to Kosovo PM Ramush Haradinaj.

Haradinaj perceives Belgrade as an obstacle for that, while at the same time he offered to Serbs seats in Main Board of Trepca, and, as Kontakt plus radio reported, they refused it.

Office for Kosovo and Metohija said that they would continue to prevent any attempt of the Serbian property usurpation.

Djuric: Toxic climate in Kosovo, Serbs treated as enemies (Tanjug, B92)

Attacks against Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija are consequence “of a toxic political climate” created by Albanian political leaders, Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said, Tanjug news agency reports. Djuric added they treat Serbs “as state enemies of their fake state.” This is how Djuric commented on recent incidents affecting the Serb community in Kosovo, including cattle thefts and slaughtering, confiscation, stopping humanitarian aid. Djuric further noted the aim of these attacks is to force the Serbs out of Kosovo.

Belgrade: We’ll never give up on creation of Community of Serbian Municipalities (N1)

Serbia will never stop insisting on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM), a part of the Brussels Agreement signed in 2013, a Government official said on Tuesday, N1 reported.
