Kosovo's Ministry of Infrastructure states that works on the road Decani-Plav continue by avoiding the protected area (Kossev)

Political Advisor to the Minister of Infrastructure Fatos Mani told Pristina based daily Gazeta Express that the works on the route to Plav continue with avoiding the protected area around the monastery. Apostolova and Delawie appeal for changes on the justice system (lajmi.net)

Head of the  EU Office to Kosovo Naliya Apostolova, said Kosovo should consider  review of the Justice Sector a priority, to proceed further with the agenda of European reforms, amendment of the criminal code, code for criminal procedure. Law on prevention of conflict of interest as well as concept document for suspension of senior officials who are indicted.

Apostolova said that it is time to do something on this direction and that she considers endorsement of this concept document to be special.

Delawie: We will observe process of counting votes as well (RTK)

The U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie, said today that international observers will be observing election process, as well as counting of votes.

“I am very glad to be here today, to in a way start my day as observer of local elections here in Kosovo. The United States of America believe that Kosovo has a tremendous opportunity today to demonstrate commitment to democracy by participating in free, credible and peaceful, elections.” He said international observers, increase peoples’ trust in elections.

Delawie: Kosovo Assembly to begin work as soon as possible (RTK)

The U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie, said he agreed with the statement of the EU Special Representative Nataliya Apostolova who criticized the Kosovo Assembly for being slow in scheduling the next session. “Assembly should get to work as soon as possible to serve the people of Kosovo. Real problems need solutions now,” Delawie tweeted.

Delawie with families of missing persons in Kosovo (KoSSev)

United States Ambassador to Pristina Greg Delawie yesterday visited the multi-ethnic Resource Center for Families of Missing Persons in Kosovo. In addition to a photo published with representatives of the Associations of Families of the Missing and Abducted, the US ambassador on his Twitter account stated that everyone must do more to support the efforts of these families to uncover the fate of the missing.

Delawie: U.S. against imprudent discussions for unification (RFE)

The U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie, assessed the statements for the possibility of unification of Kosovo with Albania, as “imprudent”.

“The U.S. Government supports the sovereignty of Kosovo and Albania. We are against imprudent discussions for unification and exaggerated reactions towards such statements, which mine sustainability in the region," Delawie said.
