Among the Kosovo Serb parties, the absolute winner of this Kosovo election is the Serbian List party, portal KoSSev writes.

This party has achieved its goal and won 10 out of 10 parliamentary seats reserved for the Serbian community and will be the only Serbian parliamentary party in the next Assembly of Kosovo (unless something changes when votes are officially counted, including votes by mail and conditional votes).

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric told TV Pink on Sunday that October 6th elections are essential important for Serbs and important for preserving ‘’Serbia’s influence in the province’’ and called all the Serbs to use their voice and be united.

Leader of Vetevendosje, Albin Kurti met with leader of LDP, Cedomir Jovanovic in Pristina, Kurti wrote on his Facebook profile.

Kurti said Jovanovic played decisive role in sending Slobodan Milosevic to The Hague, and added they spoke about political developments, social and economic conditions, the situation in the region as well as challenges in European integration.

Vetevendosje leader, Albin Kurti, said in an interview to the Sarajevo-based television channel TV1 that the Ramush Haradinaj-led government of Kosovo will not last long as it only has 52 of a total of 120 MPs. “We expected Mr. Haradinaj to be different but ever since he sat on the prime minister’s chair, he has continued with concessions to Serbia and neoliberal privatisations as his predecessors,” Kurti said.

On the fifth anniversary of the first agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti says the deal laid the groundwork for the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities which, according to him, enables Belgrade to have control over predominantly Serb municipalities in Kosovo. Kurti says that there is unanimous opposition in Kosovo to the establishment of the Association/Community and that the six-year-long dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia did not result in any sort of normalization.

The new leader of Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, does not see a division in his party. During his first press conference after being elected, Kurti said resignations of some leadership members do not mean division of the party.

Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Behgjet Pacolli, has come out in support of Vetevendosje Albin Kurti's release from detention. In a Facebook post, Pacolli wrote that Kurti is being held in detention for a political act. “I think the justice should focus more on real criminals. Albin is not a criminal. In European countries, he would be free today,” Pacolli wrote.
