Albanians and Serbs getting closer (Klan Kosova)

Kosovo and Serbia do not sign agreements only in Brussels. On Monday they signed an economic agreement in Belgrade. This settlement came as a result of the joint meeting of Kosovo’s and Serbia’s Economic Chambers. Senior level officials of the both governments participated at the event, together with dozens of businessmen. Politicians were reserved about this meeting. Kosovo’s Minister for Economic Development, Blerand Stavileci, did not mention the word “Republic” even once.

EULEX DFM solves fate of two missing persons (Klan Kosova)

The EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) through a press release informed that following the exhumations that took place on August 25, 2015 in Krusha e Vogel/Mala Krusa in the Municipality of Prizren, and the subsequent analysis of DNA results received, EULEX DFM has managed to solve the fate of two missing persons. One victim of the March 26, 1999 Krusha e Vogel/Mala Krusa massacre was identified. Mustafa: Ruling-coalition is stable (KlanKosova)

Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, during a press conference today mentioned the achievements of the government this year and said 2015 was a year of big challenges. Montenegro is expected to ratify soon the agreement for demarcation of the border with Kosovo. Montenegro’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Igor Luksic, confirmed the news in an interview for Montenegrin media. “I believe that Montenegro will very soon complete ratification of the agreement for demarcation with Kosovo,” he said.

Haziri, Jevtic and Maric discuss Serbs’ return in Gjilan/Gnjilane (Klan Kosova)

Kastrati: KSF has weak intelligence sector (Telegrafi)

In an interview for Klan Kosova, former commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) Kadri Kastrati said that the KSF is ready to transform into an armed force but added that it has a weak internal intelligence sector. He said that even if the KSF transformed into Kosovo Armed Forces (KAF), KFOR would still have to maintain its presence in Kosovo. “To be part of NATO, we have to be an army with all parameters. At present, the KSF has no capacity to fight terrorism,” said Kastrati.

Prime Minister Mustafa advises institutions not to use official vehicles (Klan Kosova)

Arban Abrashi, spokesman for the Kosovo Government, confirmed to the news site that Prime Minister Isa Mustafa has advised all state institutions not to use official vehicles. The decision comes after Wednesday’s incidents, when supporters of the opposition demolished several official vehicles.

Serbs prevent Minister Hoti from visiting the north (Klan Kosova)

Kosovo Minister of Finance Avdulla Hoti and the director of Kosovo Customs Lulzim Rafuna were not allowed to visit Leposaviq/Leposavic as local Serbs had put up a roadblock preventing their further travel. The roadblock is said to have been put up as a sign of protest but it is not yet clear what the local Serbs were protesting about. Some sources said one of the reasons could be that the Serb residents have not their salaries from the Serbian government.
