A meeting of President Aleksandar Vucic with representatives of the Kosovo Serbs was held in the Palace of Serbia. After the meeting, Vucic said in a press conference that he advised them to wait for talks in Berlin, where he will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron, reports Belgrade based news agency Beta.

"Apart from everything else, Pristina is doing some other things. They want to revoke the right of Serbs to an opinion," Vucic said.

President Aleksandar Vucic and Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija chief Marko Djuric will meet with political representatives of Serbs from Kosovo.

The meeting will be held at noon on Wednesday in the Palace of Serbia. Participants will then address the media, the president's press service said.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will meet on Tuesday in Belgrade with members of the German Bundestag Peter Beyer and Christian Schmidt.

A statement will be released after the meeting at the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic, the president's press service said.

President of the Serbian List, Goran Rakic says that the biggest support to the Kosovo Serbs was “a clear message” of the President of Serbia President Aleksandar Vucic who said he would not allow the expulsion of Serbs (from Kosovo).

Goran Rakic told the Belgrade based daily Politika that with help from Serbia, Kosovo would not experience a humanitarian catastrophe.

The president of Serbia has told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica that Serbia was absolutely stable.

Aleksandar Vucic was responding when asked "whether stability was threatened in the aftermath of the weekend conflict (during oppposition protests)."

He added that violent perpetrators do not represent Serbia.

Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic told the European Council on Foreign Relations on Monday his country was a democratic state and that he was satisfied when people could protest peacefully, but that country could not allow violence, the FoNet news agency reported.

Anyone who feels shame would either resign or withdraw from the talks on Kosovo which deteriorated the status of Serbia, opposition leader Dragan Djilas said in a letter he sent to President Aleksandar Vucic, suggesting that the talks should involve someone “more intelligent, capable and fair.”

Serbia’s high-ranking officials met Patriarch Irinej on Sunday to inform him about the current situation in the country, which President Aleksandar Vucic assessed as “difficult.”

Besides President Vucic, the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic.

Belgrade based daily Danas reports that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, at a meeting with US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale, said that the Platform for Dialogue is essentially Pristina's decision to end the dialogue with Belgrade.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will respond to Pristina’s negotiation platform in a rational manner, the president’s general secretary Nikola Selakovic told the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

General Secretary Nikola Selakovic said that Vucic’s response would be “rational, serious, responsible and firm”.

He added that the president had been warning about the platform for five months adding that it is clear now that the entire Belgrade-Pristina dialogue process is being stopped.
