Belgrade's Plan: Protection for the 44 holy sites and monuments in Kosovo (TV Most, Vecernje Novosti)

Guarantees to the Serbian Orthodox Church to have full right to dispose of all its movable and immovable property and to maintain the legal protection regime for 44 facilities that represent special zones of Serbian cultural and religious heritage, and recognition of the position of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) in Kosovo  - those are the main demands of Belgrade in a plan sent by the Serbian side to European mediators in dialogue with Pristina, TV Most reported, quoting daily Vecernje Novosti.

Police arrest attackers on two Albanians in Serbia (Serbian media)

Serbia’s Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said on Tuesday that police from the northern city of Novi Sad arrested four people suspected of attacking two young Albanians over the weekend, N1 reported.

Stefanovic said that police found the clothing the suspects wore at the night of the attack, adding that that was important for the further investigation.

Vucic feels "a bit better" after agreement with Stoltenberg (B92, Beta)

President Aleksandar Vucic says he has agreed with NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg that in the event of a crisis in Kosovo, they can quickly make contact.

He said that this procedure has been established in order to prevent conflicts and more serious consequences.

Vucic said that he asked Stoltenberg not to reduce the KFOR mission in Kosovo, "as it is the only protection for the Serb people."

Vucic warns of incidents in northern Kosovo (N1)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic warned of Friday of possible violent incidents in the town of Mitrovica.

“I fear ideas about Kosovska Mitrovica because we have indications that some people could try to storm across the bridge (between the Serb and Albanian sections of that town). We have informed the international community and we will ask them to prevent that,” the president said.

NATO chief to visit Belgrade October 6-8 (B92, Tanjug)

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will be visiting Belgrade October 6-8, NATO has announced.

According to a press release, during the visit Stoltenberg will meet with President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic.
On October 8, Stoltenberg will join Vucic for the opening ceremony of the civil emergency exercise "Srbija 2018", co-organized by the NATO Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Center (EADRCC) and the Serbian Ministry of Interior, NATO said.

Kommersant: Putin rejected Vucic's version of Kosovo's recognition (Beta, N1)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic did not achieve the goals he set on the eve of the visit, or he did not get "approval for his version of Kosovo's recognition," said today's Moscow daily Kommersant.
