"Military parade was message to our friends, and enemies" (B92, Tanjug, TV Pink)

The military-police parade ''Defence of Freedom '' was a clear message to friends and enemies, everyone should interpret it as they see fit, says Aleksandar Vulin.

Asked to comment on the claim made by some Western media that Serbia was engaging in "sabre-rattling" during a time of instability in Kosovo and Metohija, the defense minister said Belgrade did not contribute to that instability.

Serbia to hold military parade on anniversary of NATO attack (Tanjug, B92)

President Aleksandar Vucic said the 20th anniversary of the start of NATO's bombing will be marked with a special religious prayer, moleban, and a military parade.

"It's been 20 years since NATO's aggression on one sovereign country, which was not guided only by bombs from the air, it was done almost by any means - political, media," Vucic told RTS on Tuesday.

Dikovic with COM KFOR on situation in Kosovo (RTS)

Serbian Army Chief of Staff, General Ljubisa Dikovic met in Nis with COM KFOR, Major General, Salvatore Cuoci and discussed cooperation between the Army of Serbia and KFOR, current security situation in Kosovo as well as along administrative line, RTS reported.

General Dikovic emphasized that the presence of the international forces in Kosovo represents an important factor for the general security and stability there, adding that the Serbian Army places a significant importance to the cooperation with KFOR.

PM talks about "atmosphere of threats" preceding murder (B92, Radio Free Europe)

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic says that her government will provide any possible assistance in investigating the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, B92 reports.

In an interview for Radio Free Europe in the wake of the killing of the Serb politician in Kosovo, Brnabic pointed out that if Serbia was not allowed to participate in the investigation, it would launch one of its own.

The new Russian director of the Russian-Serbian Humanitarian Center says he has no intention of persuading anyone that the facility is not a military base.

The arrival of Viktor Gulyevich, "a Baikal commander," to Nis, a town in southern Serbia, has stirred spirits when it comes to the Center (RSHC), Sputnik said.

Gulyevich is described as a world-class rescuer and an expert on avalanches, who earned his PhD from the University of Irkutsk and worked for over 20 years in the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
