Putin invites Vucic to join him in Immortal Regiment march (Serbian media)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will meet in Moscow on Tuesday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who on Monday started his fourth term in office.

As announced by the Kremlin, Vucic is in the Russian capital on a working visit to attend the 73rd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Dacic added that Belgrade is ready to "host a meeting that is important for the whole world."

Serbian Defense Minister, Aleksandar Vulin says that Moscow's readiness to engage in Belgrade's dialogue with Pristina - if the format changes - changes everything.

“The topic of Kosovo was thoroughly processed during the Russian-Serbian talks,” Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, asked to comment on a possibility of expanding the format of the Belgrade-Pristina negotiations, the Russian agency Tass reported.

“We have reached some sort of agreement, if there would be attempts and intentions to expand the format of participants and intermediaries in the talks between Serbs and Albanians, and if Americans would like to become a part of that format,” Vucic said during the meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Council, Valentina Matvijenko and added:

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday thanked his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic for their constructive talks that took place in Moscow.

Addressing a joint news conference, Putin said that the conversation went in a friendly atmosphere, and that the talks were substantial.

As he pointed out, the two countries are striving to develop their interstate cooperation, and in this context, he mentioned the marking of the 180th anniversary of the establishment of Russia-Serbia diplomatic relations.
