32 citizens injured during Djuric’s arrest (Serbian media)

32 citizens present in and outside of “Mitrovica Dvor” building at the moment of arrest of Marko Djuric were injured, Mitrovica Hospital Centre Director, Milan Ivanovic told Serbian media.

“13 citizens were admitted and examined at surgery ward, 17 at ophthalmological ward and 2 at orthopaedic ward,” Ivanovic said, adding that injured persons were released for home treatment as per their decisions.

Peaceful today in North Mitrovica, the main road in Rudare blocked (Insajder, Beta, N1, Kossev)

This morning in Mitrovica North was peaceful, and normal activities took place, but outrage and anger can be felt over the arrest of Director of the Office of Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric and the behaviour of the members of the Kosovo Police, reports portal Insajder.

In place Rudare, nearby the cross, the main road Pristina - Raska continues to be blocked. Two trucks prevent the traffic on the road. People use alternative directions.

UNS and DNKIM condemn police violence against journalists (KIM Radio)

Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) and Association of Journalists of Kosovo and Metohija (DNKiM) condemned violence of the Kosovo special police members against journalists who were reporting on events in Mitrovica North, KIM Radio reported.

ROSU members attacked 15 Serbian media journalists who were following events in the north of Kosovo, despite journalists clearly identifying themselves by showing press IDs and shouting in Albanian they are journalists.

A roundtable with civil society representatives was held yesterday in Mitrovica North, within the framework of the internal dialogue on Kosovo and Metohija, Kontakt plus radio reported.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Deputy Director Dušan Kozarev, Director of the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society Žarko Stepanović, Kosovo Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic and Mitrovica North Mayor Goran Rakic also attended the roundtable.

Works continue near the main bridge in Mitrovica (Kontakt plus radio)

Works continue near the main Ibar Bridge in the northern part of Mitrovica, reports Kontakt plus radio.

The old asphalt in the Kolasinska street, near the Ibar Bridge, is removed with the help of heavy construction machines, at the spot planned for the construction of a  roundabout, reports the radio.

The Ibar Bridge is still open only for pedestrians.

Spiric visits the flooded areas in North Mitrovica (TV Most)

The situation caused by floods in the settlement Grabovac is the most difficult and the situation in Mitrovica is also being monitored, reports TV Most.

Memorial plaque dedicated to Oliver Ivanović, the leader of the CI “Freedom, Democracy, Justice”, was unveiled today at the site of his murder, Serbian media reported.

On the memorial plaque, below Ivanović’s photo, a quote was written, which is one of Ivanović’s earlier statements.

“I have to endure, because if I give up, I will admit that they are stronger than anything I believed in. No evil can last forever. At one time, there will probably be justice. I will never ever leave Kosovo and Metohia.”
