A protest walk “One in Five Million” is announced to take place on Saturday, 2 February in Mitrovica North.
Simic: Serbs will not accept violent integration of Mitrovica North (TV Pink, Tanjug, Vecernje Novosti)
Serbs from Mitrovica North will not accept the violent integration with Mitrovica South, Srpska Lista Deputy Chair, Igor Simic said, commenting on an initiative to unite the town, Tanjug news agency reported.
“Serbs from northern part of Mitrovica will not accept violent integration into any system, since nobody wants to replace something that is good and has quality with something that does not function,” Simic told TV Pink.
He added that Mitrovica North “represents an obstacle to extremists’ advancement” since 1999 until today, and this way municipalities of Zubin Potok, Leposavic and Zvec

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told TV Pink in Davos, on the occasion of the request of Albanian councillors to unite the northern and southern parts of Mitrovica and the support given by Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, that this will not happen.
Vucic told Belgrade based TV Pink that he does not understand "neither what Thaci does, nor Ramush Haradinaj."

Mural of Oliver Ivanovic painted in Belgrade (TV N1)
A mural of the murdered Kosovo Serb leader Oliver Ivanovic has been painted on a wall in Belgrade, not far from the city’s main police station, TV N1 reports.
An unidentified artist painted a portrait of Ivanovic and wrote inscription “You Can’t Live in an Atmosphere of Fear”.
The mural was painted just prior to the first anniversary of the murder of Ivanovic. He was gunned down in front of his party offices in Mitrovica North on 16 January 2018.
A protest gathering has been scheduled to take place tomorrow in central Belgrade to mark the anniversary.

Clinic and Health Centre in Mitrovica North received yesterday humanitarian aid related to medical material, Director of the Centre, Milan Ivanovic told Radio kontakt plus.
“After the problems to get medicaments, due to hampering acts by Pristina, thus disabling an adequate medical treatment of our patients, yesterday on 12 December, necessary medical material from our state of Serbia arrived and it was received as humanitarian aid,” Ivanovic said, underlining that “taxes are not paid for the humanitarian deliveries.”
