Serbian National Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Chairperson Milovan Drecun commenting on the Albanian President Ilir Meta statement in Sarajevo “that the reality that Kosovo is independent state should be accepted,” said formation of a joint state is taking place, Vecernje Novosti reported.

According to Drecun, Meta showed in Sarajevo during the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit how joint foreign policy of Pristina and Tirana looks like.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic reacted to Albanian President Ilir Meta's speech at South-East European Cooperation Process Summit in Jahorina saying that SEECP doesn't recognize Kosovo, adding that there is no room for provocations, B92 reports.

Kosovo and Albania have only made problems for themselves by not coming to the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit in Sarajevo and have struck a heavy blow to regional cooperation, Bosnian Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak said on Monday, adding that he has no idea what prompted Pristina not to come to the Summit, TV N1 reports.

Foreign Affairs Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak said decision of Kosovo and Albania to boycott the summit in Sarajevo represents an implementation of announced joint foreign policy of Pristina and Tirana.

Crnadak made these remarks to Sarajevo-based Klix portal, adding that Kosovo delegation recently submitted visa request which points out there was obviously an intention to attend the summit.

Pristina's decision to ban entry to Serbian officials to Kosovo is unprecedented, said Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.

He told Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti that the decision is another slap, not to Belgrade, but above all the European Union and the international community, which shamelessly is silent to the violation of all civilization norms that have been practiced for years by Ramush Haradinaj and Hashim Thaci.

Political agreement in the Western Balkans should be rewarded, the European Commissioner for Enlargement Johannes Hahn said on Monday and called on the bloc’s foreign ministers to start accession talks with North Macedonia, the FoNet news agency reported.

Hahn added the move would be an essential signal to the whole region.

The European Union countries consider a non-paper regarding the bloc's enlargement to include the Western Balkans as still a credible option, with 13 member states supporting the idea, Radio Free Europe (RFE) reported on Thursday.

RFE had insight into the document which, among other things, said that EU should confirm its explicit dedication to the Western Balkans integration and that there was no "a plan B" for the region.

The crossing point of Morina is located at the border between Serbia and Albania, Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said commenting on the statement of Kosovo President Hashim Thaci that border point Morina “unjustly divides Kosovo and Albania,” RTS reported.

“Serbia within these borders is a member of the United Nations. I do not know how Thaci intends to change something the UN has recognized, without asking Belgrade for that,” Dacic told Vecernje Novosti daily.

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic has told public broadcaster RTS that Serbia is "a small, but not a stupid country." He added that while Belgrade talks about compromise and dialogue, Pristina and Tirana are looking for ways to create ‘Greater Albania’ - an expansionist nationalist project at the expense of Albanians' neighbors - and do it under the table.

Dacic told RTS that a meeting between Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on Wednesday in Tirana about "national unification" deserves a strong response.

By constant repeating about their national unification Albanians succeeded to make it sound normal and nobody reacts to it any longer, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said commenting on the meeting of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Kosovo President Hashim Thaci in Tirana yesterday.

Vucic made these remarks following his meeting with EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, adding he conveyed to Mogherini his dissatisfaction, as he said, over strange occurrences between Tirana and Pristina such are the talks on the national unification of Albanians.
