Valdrin Lluka, Kosovo’s Minister of Economic Development, told N1 on Thursday he expected a final solution in Belgrade - Pristina dialogue on normalisation of relations to be reached this year and accused Serbia of not implementing deals agreed in Brussels.

Speaking at the sidelines of the “Challenges and perspectives of normalisation between Belgrade and Pristina” conference in Belgrade, Lluka said that Serbia’s refusal to implement the energy deal from 2013 caused 25 million Euros loss per year for Kosovo.

There was never a talk with representatives of the international community about what Serbia would like as an outcome in the negotiations with Pristina, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said in an interview for Sunday's edition of the Belgrade based daily Politika, answering the question of whether in the past the issue of the Serbian position has been raised in discussions with influential Western officials.

Serbia will never stop insisting on the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM), a part of the Brussels Agreement signed in 2013, a Government official said on Tuesday, N1 reported.

Marko Djuric, the head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Belgrade’s official name for its former province, said he was grateful to local Serbs, loyal to Belgrade, for not trying to form the CSM on their own.

Rada Trajkovic, president of the European Movement of Serbs, told RTK2 that Serbia has already done a lot in the field of compromise with Kosovo, allowing Pristina full internal independence through executive, legislative and judicial power, which is completely independent from Belgrade.

The foreign policy committee of the European Parliament tomorrow should adopt the text of the report on Serbia, which includes a compromise amendment on the possible correction of the borders between Serbia and Kosovo, reports Radio Television Serbia (RTS).

"Any agreement can only be accepted if it is mutually consistent and in line with the overall stability of the region and international law," the text of the agreed amendment states.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says that Serbia will not recognize Kosovo's independence and allow UN membership, and stresses that Pristina authorities daily send very diverse messages that are not related to reality, reports Serbian media.

In the case of Kosovo, a compromise should be sought, and for the statements of Hashim Thaci regarding the merger of Presevo, Dacic says that "he must say something, because he is attacked from all sides".

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic assessed on Wednesday that Pristina's representatives do not want to discuss a single issue of essential importance.

Vecernje Novosti today write that the authorities in Pristina largely present to the western embassies their solution for the status of an independent Kosovo in which the position of the Serbs would be arranged by the model of South Tyrol in Italy.

This action coincided with the agreement of Hashim Thaci and Ramush Haradinaj that there is no negotiation of demarcation and threatens to place Belgrade before a fait accompli, Novosti learns.
