NATO Deputy Secretary General Rose Gottemoeller said in Brussels on Tuesday that KFOR would not withdraw from Kosovo.

Members of the Montenegrin Parliament are discussing sending up to 40 members of the Army of Montenegro to the international "Resolute Support" mission in Afghanistan and two staff officers to KFOR in Kosovo, media reported.

COM KFOR, Major-General Salvatore Cuoci said yesterday in Mitrovica North that both Belgrade and Pristina need to think how to shape the future, and at the end it is important to find a solution for the people living here, Radio kontakt plus reported.

General Cuoci made these remarks in the Rectorate of University of Pristina, temporarily dislocated to Mitrovica North, where he spoke with students about KFOR Mission, current and future challenges as well as responded to their questions.

Belgrade based daily Blic today writes that although for some years now the Kosovo Army has been announced as a finished issue, apparently, ''a whole decade'' awaits the Army.

Blic recall all the attempts of Pristina authorities, and the attempt to change laws, due to the impossibility to change the Constitution and thus through ''small door'' transform KSF into an army.

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said in a statement that the daily sensationalist statements of Pristina proved the best the status of the "southern autonomous province was not what they wanted and how they represented the citizens there," reports RTS.

KFOR Commander, Major-General Salvatore Cuoci said in Slobodno srpski talk show that KFOR did not take part in the investigation of Oliver Ivanovic murder, but it is ready to get involved if asked. General Cuoci said in security aspects for the entire region, it would be very important to resolve this murder.

He further added, so far KFOR did not receive any request for support regarding Ivanovic murder investigation, and he remains certain that the prosecution and police actively work on finding evidences and resolving this case.

On Wednesday night 12 robberies occurred in the territory of Gracanica municipality, vehicles and a restaurant were broken into, as well as houses in several locations in the town, Mayor of Gracanica Municipality, Srdjan Popovic told RTS, also confirming that his vehicle was broken into.

Major of Gracanica municipality, Srdjan Popovic visited the partly damaged school in Suvi Dol village, following the incident there and spoke with a school headmaster Bratislav Djedovic, KIM Radio reported.

Popovic said citizens are very much concerned by this incident, but also by other acts of violence and attacks against Serbs across Kosovo.

He added, he has spoken with Gracanica police station commander about possibility to open three police sub-stations in Gracanica municipality.

US Ambassador to Serbia, Kyle Scott commenting on EULEX departure from Kosovo and Metohija, said there are other ways to protect the Serbian people there, since KFOR and Kosovo police would remain, Tanjug news agency reported.

Member of Srpska Lista, Igor Simic told RTS Serbia’s progress does not go in favour of some people and that is why they are trying to drag Serbia into a vortex of instability.

Simic made these remarks commenting on frequent attacks against Serbs and their properties over the last days in Kosovo and Metohija.

He added it is about synchronized attacks in areas where Serbs are in minority, and their aim is to intimidate returnees and remaining Serbs in Kosovo.
