Vucic: One spark could ignite whole region (Dailies)

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has told the Vienna daily Presse that "a single spark can ignite the whole region of the Western Balkans."

"As the Serbian prime minister I don't fear serious economic reforms, but I have a great fear of regional instability. A spark can ignite the whole region," warned Vucic, adding that his greatest concern is the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Vucic: Serbia committed to policy of Western Balkan stability (Tanjug)

Serbia is committed to the policy which will bring stability to the Western Balkans, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said in the talks with Head of the EU Delegation in Serbia Michael Davenport on Monday.

Vucic and Davenport discussed the Tuesday continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue in Brussels, the situation in the region and migrant tide, the Serbian government Office for cooperation with the media released.

Vucic: UNMIK crucial factor of stability in Kosovo (Blic)

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic received outgoing UNMIK Chief Farid Zarif on Tuesday, and on that occasion thanked him for the objective and professional work during his term of office.

As the Serbian government's media relations office said in a release, the Serbian prime minister said that the UNMIK's presence and operations are important for Serbia, as a guarantor of the status neutrality of the international presence and the crucial factor of stability in Kosovo.

Vucic and Rama in a TV show (TV Most, RTS,Blic,Vesti, Akter)

The prime ministers of Albania and Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic and Edi Rama, will be guests in sixty minutes show of the regional TV production "Okruzenje," which is broadcasted in five countries on 11 national and dozens of local television stations, as announced by this production, the RTS will broadcast the show on August 31.

According to the press release, the show will be recorded in a studio in Vienna, during the second conference on the Western Balkans, reports FoNet. The third guest will be Goran Svilanovic, the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council.

"Vucic to travel to U.S. with new evidence in Bytyqi case" (B92)

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic will visit Washington with new evidence in the case of the murder of the Bytyqi brothers.

Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic also told Radio Belgrade that authorities have been intensively working on the case and that the FBI has participated in the investigation since the beginning.

Vukcevic said this case should be closed along with others by the end of his mandate.

Vucic: I discussed the platform with Nikolic (TV Most)

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that he discussed and will discuss with President Tomislav Nikolic the platform for Kosovo and Metohija, which Serbian President proposed. "We talked and we'll talk in the future, we are waiting for the completion of the Brussels talks, and we will continue," said Vucic.

Vučić said that Serbia will do everything in its power to prevent Kosovo to become a member of UNESCO, by peaceful and democratic means. "Serbia is not powerless as it was," he said.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic reiterated in Nis that Belgrade is ready to resume dialogue with Pristina in Brussels. We have reached many a compromise in the talks and managed to preserve our vital national interests, Vucic emphasized. According to him, the EU also wants a great deal of issues to be resolved in dialogue prior to the Vienna Conference.

Merkel's visit is in favour of good relations in the region (RTS)

Director of the Government Office for Cooperation with the media Milivoje Mihajlovic hopes that the visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to Belgrade will be in favour of good neighbourly relations in the region and good relations between Serbia and Germany.

"The interest of Germany for the regional cooperation is huge and it will be the main topic. What brings Merkel, according to Western media, is to speed up the region to the EU with regional cooperation and resolving the remaining issues," said Mihajlovic in the RTS news.
