Group of activists formed the Serbian national forum (SNF) in Gracanica, an organization whose goal is to assemble the intellectual elite of Kosovo Serbs and solving problems of the Serbian community, reported RTK2.

- The idea came from the need to include an intellectual force of the Serbian people in Kosovo and therefore propose solutions for problems related to the Serbian people in Kosovo, ranging from everyday problems, which may be trivial for some, to those very painful and difficult ones – said one of the founders of the forum professor Aleksandar Djikic.

Kosovo will get the area code but first must comply with all international standards, told RTK2, Randjel Nojkic Director of the post office in Kosovo in the system of Serbia.

An area code for Kosovo is one of the most important issues for telecommunications in Kosovo. According to the Brussels agreement between Pristina and Belgrade, reached in August 2013, Kosovo will receive an international phone number from the International Telecommunication Union.

"After these events, where the returnee houses and returnees themselves are very often lately under attack, does not contribute to mass return to Kosovo or survival of those who returned".

On September 4, in Brussels will be continued dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade on integrated border management. Political analyst Dusan Janjic believes that Belgrade and Pristina will have series of meetings, whose results will directly affect the European future of both sides.

 “Political subjects will do their utmost in order to avoid new elections, because new elections would not bring any specific solution,” Dukagjin Gorani, political analyst, said to RTK2.

“Repetition of elections equally suit and doesn’t suit both sides (PDK and post-election coalition). Elections would be difficult and delicate test for both sides, since none of them would enter the process willingly and being sure about the victory. On the other side both claim that repeated elections would provide a higher level of legitimacy,” Gorani said.

Extremists in Kosovo are well equipped and trained to carry out attacks and they pose a danger for the constitutional order of Kosovo, claims the executive director of the Center for Security Studies in Pristina, Florian Cehaja. He assessed that a joint action of the police in the region is needed for successful fight against the Islamic extremists.

Couple days ago, following a two year investigation, Kosovo police has arrested 40 persons in several Kosovo towns under charges for participating in wars in Syria and Iraq.

Process of normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina is irreversible, however it is in a risky phase, said analyst Dusan Janjic to RTK2. From that reason, more active role of the European Union is needed in Brussels negotiations, and involvement of the international community in the process of the creation of Kosovo government, assessed Janjic.

As a part of the Ahtisaari plan, two years ago was opened an Administrative office for North Mitrovica, which since then provided municipal services to the citizens of North Mitrovica. After four attempts, at the local elections was elected the Mayor, and shortly thereafter formed the Municipal Assembly.

New elections are needed in order to clarify the political scene in Kosovo, the leader of the Progressive Democratic Party and the MP in the Kosovo Assembly Nenad Rasic said to RTK2.

“Nothing is certain in that sense, nothing is known  yet, we are brought into situation to wait the decision of the Constitutional Court, which has is due to be delivered before 18 September, what is dragging the political process,” said Rasic and assessed that only new elections could resolve the political and institutional crisis that emerged after parliamentary elections in June.

Political parties don’t view elections as the way out of the current political crisis in Kosovo, however they are not excluding possibility of going to new early elections.

Representatives of political parties said that parties they represent are ready for elections and that they are not afraid of it, however they say it would not be the right solution since millions of euros would be wasted for an endless process and that from that reason they hope that new institutions will be created and elections avoided.
