"Vucic on Kosovo - preparing the ground for a new initiative" (N1, Vesti)

Sociologist Dario Hajric, assessing a part of Aleksandar Vucic's speech at the SNS Main Committee on Kosovo, said that he (Vucic) prepares the ground for a new initiative to be taken, regional broadcaster N1 reports.

He adds that there will probably be a turning point in Kosovo's politics, but he thinks that this will not happen behind the scenes.

DSS breaks local coalitions with SNS over "surrender of Kosovo" (Kossev, N1)

The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) has decided that all municipal councils of the DSS should break local coalitions with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), reports Serbian media.

DSS President Milos Jovanovic told reporters that the coalition with the Progressives was broken up in 14 municipalities.

Fierce reactions to Serbian opposition MP’s letter (N1)

A Serbian opposition MP’s open letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin drew fierce reactions from the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) which claimed that he made death threats against President Aleksandar Vucic.

In his letter, MP Slavisa Ristic drew parallels between Vucic and the late Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic who was assassinated in 2003 which SNS officials interpreted as a death threat.

Stefanovic to Insajder on the role of Milan Radojicic in Kosovo: I heard about him from the media (Insajder)

Dacic: I would like extraordinary elections (RTS, FoNet, Danas)

Serbian Minster of Foreign Affairs and leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Ivica Dacic said yesterday he is pleased with the results of the local elections (that took place in five Serbian municipalities) and he would like to have an extraordinary parliamentary elections, Danas daily reported. Speaking for the RTS main news edition, Dacic said that SPS have achieved an extraordinary results at this elections in a coalition with the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in the municipalities of Pecinci, Negotin and Kostolac. He further said he has been thinking for a while if a coalition
