Braathu: Voting without problem (TV Most)

Head of OSCE mission in Kosovo Ambassador Jan Braathu said that the voting at the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo was taking place in a regular manner, and he expressed hope that until the end of the day, the situation throughout Kosovo would remain calm and problem-free.

Braathu visited today the polling centre at “Sveti Sava” school in Mitrovica North.

Kontakt Plus radio reports that the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić will meet with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General and UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin.

As announced by the President's Office for cooperation with the media after the meeting a press release will follow.

And TV Most reports that the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić will meet with UNMIK chief Zahir Tanin at the Palace "Serbia".

NUNS, UNS and the Nezavisnost media branch trade union are urging media to stop broadcasting Wednesday within the "Five minutes of thunderous silence" campaign.

Đurić held an emergency meeting with representatives of EULEX (TV Most)

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić held an emergency meeting in Belgrade today with senior representatives of EULEX regarding the more frequent attacks on Serbs and open threats of violence that arrive from extreme political and religious circles in the province, stated the Office for KiM.

Assistant Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Ljubomir Marić will meet tomorrow the Head of the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) Zahir Tanin.

Marić: Drafting of the Statute of the ZSO within the competence of the Management Team (TV Most)

Assistant Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Ljubomir Marić says that that drafting of the Statute of the Community/Association of the Serb municipalities is entirely the responsibility of the Management Team, and representatives of the Serbian people in Kosovo, as well as that all the announcements of Albanian officials in Pristina on this occasion can only be the result of ignorance or deliberate attempt to mislead the public and further avoidance of the formation of the ZSO.

President of the local community in Suvi Do/Suhodoll Mićo Kragović says that the Albanians have set up the street signs late the night before.

He adds that the Serbs from this village are outraged and very upset by this move of neighbours and perceive this as pressure and the first step towards the ethnic cleansing of Serbs from this village, which, as he points out, for years are struggling to survive despite many pressures.
