"Vucic, Thaci to face most contentious, disruptive topics" (Stratfor, Tanjug, B92)

"Ethnic tensions and nationalistic fervor" continue "just under the surface of the relative calm that has endured in the Western Balkans over the past decade."

The Stratfor organization, which Tanjug quoted in a a report and described as dealing with geopolitical analyses, also states "one of the most contentious topics on the agenda of the coming negotiations is the creation of a Community of Serb Municipalities," known in Serbian by its "ZSO" acronym.

The ZSO, Stratfor continues, is an idea "broached in 2013, but little progress in implementing it has been made since."

Deadline of all deadlines - May 2019? (B92)

Untying the "Kosovo knot" has been the focus of attention domestically for months, and it seems a final deadline for a final agreement has come from Brussels, B92 reports.

Although political figures in high-ranking state posts often mentioned various deadlines and suggested dates for a final solution, given the current situation in both Belgrade and Pristina, their eyes are more than ever on the EU.

Kremlin spokesman denies that Putin will visit Belgrade? (Tanjug)

Spokesperson of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov could not confirm whether Vladimir Putin's visit to Serbia is being prepared.

Earlier on Tuesday, Russian Ambassador in Belgrade Aleksandr Chepurin said that the visit of Putin to Serbia is expected in October or November.

According to TASS, when asked if certain specific deadlines for the visit had been set, Peskov replied "No, not for now."

Peskov also said that for now there were no concrete dates for such a visit to be realized, nor has it been confirmed that it is already being prepared.

Exchange of territories is wrong idea (KIM Radio)

Rada Trajkovic and Nexhmedin Spahiu took part in the RTV Kim talk show Sporazum. During the show Spahiu said “it’s a high time for an agreement between Belgrade and Pristina to be reached, while Trajkovic opined that in her view “the solution is the continuation of negotiations, elections and a new team that would not offer delimitation as an option”.

Joksimovic: If there is no solution, there would be no status quo (Tanjug)

Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy, Aleksandra Joksimovic told Tanjug news agency that Belgrade-Pristina negotiations are entering the final phase and the picture would be clearer in September whether there would be a legally binding agreement on normalization of relations between the two sides.

According to Joksimovic it goes in no one’s favour to prolong the resolution of the Kosovo issue.

Hahn without answer on "territory exchange", but mentions new deadline (B92, RFE)

EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn did not directly reply to RFE's question regarding the idea of "delimitation" to solve the Kosovo issue.

B92 reported, quoting RFE, that he stressed that in order to resolve any bilateral conflict, any possible solution must contribute to the wider stability of the region and should  not be at the expense of others in the region.

Civic Vojvodina: Immediately stop dangerous ideas about the exchange of territory (Danas)

The Civic Vojvodina Coalition believes that the idea of "exchanging territory" and ethnic "demarcation" between Serbia and Kosovo is extremely dangerous and irrational and cannot be justified by any long-term solution for Kosovo, reports Belgrade based daily Danas.

Vucic to Keefe - "Serbia won't be humiliated" (Tanjug)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Serbia would never accept a solution for Kosovo which was degrading for the country and its people.

Vucic pointed this out in a meeting with the UK Ambassador to Serbia in Belgrade, Denis Keefe concerning the current state of the Belgrade - Pristina dialogue.

The two interlocutors also discussed bilateral relationship, situation in the region and the results of the Western Balkans Summit in London.

"US and Germany are at odds about Kosovo partition" (Tanjug, B92)

American Wall Street Journal (WSJ) daily and Brussels portal EUobserver reported on the informal meeting of the EU foreign ministers on August 30-31 in Vienna.

The American paper said that US and Germany were on the opposite sides when it came to a plan about border change between Serbia and Kosovo and solving one of the last major territorial disputes in Europe.
