Metropolitan Amfilohije: I did not hold funeral mass for Vucic (Danas, KIM Radio)

Egypt recognized Kosovo only verbally, without any paper or note, in June 2013, three days before the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood, Politika daily writes today.

According to the daily, it represents a rather weak form of recognition, and even the then Ministry of Foreign Affairs was against such decision, adding there was no exchange on notes between the Egyptian and Kosovo foreign ministries, and the recognition was made only through a statement of the then spokesperson of the ministry, Badr Abdel Aty.

The US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, hosted a "Friends of the US" reception Wednesday night, inviting those who had voted against or abstained from voting on a resolution condemning the United States for officially recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Great Britain was drafting a UN resolution on Srebrenica without even informing Serbia about it, Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has said.

According to the daily Blic, Dacic "in this way explained his recent statement that big countries are not Serbia's friends and that there are no friendships in politics."

Kuburovic: Special Court new chance for justice (RTS, Tanjug)

Serbian Justice Minister, Nela Kuburovic told RTS Serbia remains committed to achieving the justice for Serbian victims of the war crimes, pointing out that the Serbian victims did not find the justice before the international bodies.

Kuburovic made these remarks during the visit to the Memorial Room of Kosovo victims, adding that the first indictments at the Special Court for KLA crimes are expected at the beginning of the next year, RTS further reported.

Chairperson of Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun commenting on an initiative to repeal or revoke the Law on Special Court for the War Crimes told RTS “it is about a well-thought plan, which, although it was clear would not pass, should serve as a message that the situation in Kosovo could destabilize if Kadri Veseli, Hashim Thaci and other KLA leaders found themselves on indictments of the court.”
