Two memorandums of cooperation to be signed at CEC (RTK)

Two memorandums of cooperation will be signed today at the Central Election Commission (CEC).

Initially, CEC will be signing a memorandum of cooperation with the EU Office in Kosovo, for monitoring of the early parliamentary elections. Another memorandum of cooperation will be signed between the government of Kosovo and the EU Office in Kosovo. These memorandums will be signed by the head of CEC, Valdete Daka, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Enver Hoxhaj and the EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova.

Head of the EU Office in Kosovo and the EU Special Representative Nataliya Apostolova says that an agreement on the Community/Association of Serb municipalities was reached between the two sides in the dialogue under the auspices of the EU and that she expects the formation of the ZSO as soon as possible.

Apostolova says demarcation is condition for visa liberalisation (Lajmi.net)

Head of the European Union Office in Pristina, Nataliya Apostolova said firmly during a press conference today that combating of crime and corruption are conditions for liberalisation of visas.

She said that progress has been made on this direction, however, she also mentioned the condition of the demarcation of the border with Montenegro, saying that there will be no visas without conclusion of this issue.

New Head of EU Office in Kosovo/EU Special Representative Nataliya Apostolova takes up posts (Koha Ditore)

The new Head of the EU Office in Kosovo and the EU Special Representative, Nataliya Apostolova, has taken up her posts today, 1 September 2016.

Ms. Apostolova, a Bulgarian national, has served both in her national diplomatic administration and in the European External Action Service for over 25 years. Most recently, she was the Ambassador and the Head of the EU Delegation in Tripoli, Libya.
