 Serbian List has not decided how to vote for Assembly President (RTK)

Elected MP from the Serbian List, Sasa Milosavlevic said that his party does not yet have an official position on the new Assembly President or on the Prime Minister of Kosovo that would come from PAN coalition.

Milosavlevic said that they expect to discuss with different parties and present their conditions that they would expect to eventually be accepted by partners. He said that it is natural that the Serbian List would consult Belgrade.

Serbian List: We will talk to everybody, including Haradinaj (media)

President of the Serbian List Slavko Simić said that the Serbian List will participate in all political consultations, regardless of who the new PM designate is going to be. Simić stated this in an interview for Radio Free Europe.

He said that the List is ready to participate in the political consultations with the representatives of Albanian parties, in order to perceive their real positions, when replying the question on whether and under which conditions would Serbian List support the government of Haradinaj.

Nine of ten seats for the Serbian List in the Assembly of Kosovo (KIM radio)

In the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Kosovo, the Serbian List won 44 578 votes or 6.12%. The Serbian List will have 9 out of 10 parliamentary seats, KIM radio reports.

Simić: Serbian List will file a complaint due to the election results in Kosovo (NMagazin, Blic, Beta)

According to the final results, the Serbian List has won nine out of ten seats in the Assembly guaranteed for the Serb community.

President of the Serbian List Slavko Simić said late last night that they will complain about the final results of the early parliamentary elections in Kosovo, because, as he said, they think that more than one thousand conditional votes were annulled.

Kurti: Dialogue with Serbs, not Serbia (Danas, Blic)

Our priority will be dialogue with the Serbs from Kosovo, we have an economic and social plan for the northern municipalities of Kosovo and we are not against the Serbs, but Serbia is against us, said leader of the Self-Determination Movement Albin Kurti. Belgrade based daily Danas published a summary of Blic newspaper interview with Albin Kurti.

The previous dialogue held with Serbia in Brussels did not set any conditions for Serbia, and internal issues of Kosovo were discussed, which is why the outcome could not have been just, Kurti believes.

Ymeri: The will of Serb voters got distorted by Serbian List (Klan Kosova)

Vetevendosje leader, Visar Ymeri, wrote on Facebook that the will of Kosovo Serb voters was distorted in 11 June elections through the pressure exercised by the Serbian List. “Initially, this was exercised on other local Serb parties by forcing them to withdraw from elections such as the case with one party who withdrew its list of candidates following pressure from Belgrade. At the same time, the Liberal Party led by Slobodan Petrovic undertook no election campaign at all as a result of open intimidation by the Serbian List”, Ymeri wrote.

Simic: Serbian List with sufficient number of MPs to block harmful initiatives (Blic, Klan Kosova)

Slavko Simic, leader of the Serbian List, which won ten seats at Kosovo Assembly, said that the Serbian List has achieved its primary goal, by assuring sufficient number of MPs to block political initiatives which would be harmful for Serb population in Kosovo.

Rakić: Without Serbian List impossible to form a government (Kontakt Plus radio)

North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakić said that without the Serbian list impossible to form a government in Pristina, and that some Albanian parties already make plans without taking this into account. Rakić is reminding that the Serbian List owns 10 mandates, reports North Mitrovica based Kontakt plus radio.

He added that formation of a new government in Pristina implies respecting the interests of the Serbian people in Kosovo.
