Djuric: We are for compromised and not unilateral solutions (RTS)

Serbia will cooperate with the Special Court for KLA crimes, and it would be good if there are even theoretic chances that some of the criminals are punished, however, we should not have unrealistic expectations, Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said speaking for the RTS news edition.

Djuric added, Belgrade is for a compromised solution when it comes to Kosovo and will not accept unilateral impositions.

Janjic: Goals of “platform” – seat in UN and mutual recognitions with Serbia (KIM Radio)

Forum for Ethnic Relations Director, Dusan Janjic thinks that after adoption of the platform “for final phase of dialogue with Serbia,” in the Kosovo Government, Serbia should also establish its own platform to respond to “the two strongest political and historical provocations,” KIM Radio reported.

Janjic further elaborated Pristina platform has three goals, seat in the UN, recognition of Kosovo by Serbia and defining relations with the EU and NATO.

According to him, first goal cannot be achieved in negotiations with Serbia.

Drecun: Management Team for ZSO Statute contrary to agreement (TV N1, Danas)

Chairperson of the Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told TV N1, Serbs in Kosovo did not give up on ZSO, but decided to wait since Pristina made a political manoeuvre.

Management Team for ZSO Statute Pristina is establishing is not in accordance with Brussels agreement, Drecun said, therefore the ZSO Statute would be in contradiction to that agreement as well.

Simic: Meeting with Management Team for drafting ZSO Statute today (RTS)

Kosovo MP from Srpska Lista, Igor Simic told RTS that all Serb political representatives would meet today in Zvecan with Management Team for drafting the ZSO Statute.

Simic said he shares opinion of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic that Pristina would not make steps necessary to establish the ZSO in the next three and a half months, adding it has been proven so far there is no sincere will in Pristina to establish the ZSO as it was agreed in Brussels.

Djuric: Of course we would seek explanation from Mogherini (TV Prva, B92, Vecernje Novosti)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric told TV Prva that representatives of Kosovo Albanians appear as “unserious and dishonest people,” when it comes to their obligation to establish Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities.

Djuric also touched upon a visit of an EU High Representative Federica Mogherini to Belgrade today.

Srpska Lista to Apostolova: Pristina to adjust laws for ZSO (RTS, RTV)

Pristina has to amend and adjust its laws and other legal acts, thus enabling conditions for establishment of the Association of Serb Municipalities in accordance with the obligations it undertook by signing the Brussels agreement, Srpska Lista (SL) said yesterday, RTS reported.

We expect that EU Special Representative in Kosovo, Natalya Apostolova reminds Pristina about that obligation, SL further said.

Jeremic: Serbia does not have to choose between Kosovo and EU (Serbian media)

Leader of People’s Party Vuk Jeremic said Serbia does not have to choose between Kosovo and EU, as Serbia’s membership to the EU is not feasible in near future, Serbian media reported

Jeremic made these remarks for the Chinese state TV CGTN adding “it is difficult to imagine that Serbia would be admitted to the EU with unresolved Kosovo issue, as it is also difficult to imagine Serbia would enter the EU at all, even if it resolves the Kosovo issue.”

Pristina-based legal professional, Blerim Burjani said that the truth about drafting ZSO Statute is not in a decision of the Kosovo Constitutional Court but in a political compromise.

Burjani made this remark referring to the announcements from Brussels and Pristina that remarks and conclusions of the Kosovo Constitutional Court should be a base for defining an umbrella act on ZSO.

Berlin increases pressure on Belgrade over Kosovo (Danas)

Forthcoming meeting between the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and German Chancellor Angela Merkel should be interpreted as increased pressure on Belgrade to reach an agreement on normalization of relations with Pristina as soon as possible.
