Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic denied allegations that a German delegation with a proposal for a legally binding agreement on Kosovo will arrive to Serbia, N1 broadcaster reports.

"It's nonsense, nobody comes," Dacic told the Belgrade based daily Politika.

The new meeting of Serbian and Kosovo President Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci, with the EU mediation, to be held in Brussels on Friday, a preparation for a new phase of negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, writes the Belgrade daily Danas.

President of the Forum for Ethnic Relations Dusan Janjic told Danas that the meeting will be at the highest political level, which will start in May, adding that yesterday's negotiations at the technical level are also an overture for that meeting.

Serbia and Kosovo will most likely regulate relations by the model of the two Germanys, says Director of the Forum for Ethnic Relations Dusan Janjic. Janjic told RTK 2 that Serbia must sign a legally binding agreement in the EU integration process, but that it does not have to recognize Kosovo.

He said that the internal dialogue with the revival of the story of demarcation has made it difficult for Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to find a solution to normalize relations.

- After documentation was submitted to the Ministry of Justice of the Government of Serbia regarding the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, the president of the Civic Initiative SDP, Belgrade can initiate its own proceedings - check, supplement or challenge the findings from Pristina.

Internal dialogue on Kosovo did not result in a sufficient number of realistic proposals, meaning there would neither be a use of it for the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic nor for the society to define the interests of Serbia and the Serb community in Kosovo in the process of normalization of relations with Pristina, Danas daily reported.

These remarks were made during the presentation of a report on monitoring internal dialogue by the Forum of Interethnic Relations.

Could Serbian Government by conditioning continuation of the Brussels dialogue and Srpska Lista by “freezing” existence of the Kosovo Government, that depends on its votes, help official Belgrade to become a part of the investigation of Oliver Ivanovic’s murder, Danas daily wrote on Friday.

Diplomatic sources told Danas daily that due to Pristina’s refusal to involve official Belgrade in the investigation, Belgrade can only count on exchange of information.

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija announces today that topics of three-day talks in Brussels will be implementation of the agreements reached on the Community/Association of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), freedom of movement, integrated management of administrative crossings, justice, energy and other open issues, reports KIM radio.

In the continuation of the negotiation process with Pristina, the Serbian delegation will be led by the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric.

The period from June initiative of the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to launch an internal dialogue on Kosovo until the organization of the first roundtable on 31 October 2017, was marked with two tendencies: frozen conflict and delineation, KoSSev portal reported today.

This is according to the Forum of Ethnic Relations Director, Dusan Janjic who presented the first out of five reports, his organization would dedicate to the internal dialogue on Kosovo. The report is also focused on the impact the initiative has in Kosovo.

Belgrade based daily Danas writes today that the Haradinaj government's program does not specify a concrete plan for transforming the Kosovo security forces into the armed forces.

Danas recalls that Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has declared that the EU will grant visa liberalization for Kosovo in March "right after the celebration of the tenth anniversary of independence," and that the Kosovo army will be formed the same month.

Director of the Forum for Ethnic Relations Dusan Janjic said, visiting the N1 show ''Dan Uzivo'', that the commitment of Serbia in the future - to go to the EU or against the EU - is more important than the Kosovo issue. This, he says, implies the recognition of reality, which does not mean recognition of independence, but means accepting Kosovo in the UN without the opposition of Serbia.
