Tahiri travels to Brussels to discuss Serbia’s blockade on telephone code (Kosovapress)

Kosovo’s Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, has travelled to Brussels today where she will meet Angelina Eichhorst, the European External Action Service’s Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans and Turkey. The meeting will focus on Serbia’s blocking of the implementation of the telecom agreement, the independence of KOSTT and the revitalization of the Iber Bridge in Mitrovica.

Kozarev: Unconvincing excuses of Tahiri (Blic)

Deputy Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Dušan Kozarev said that the Pristina Chief negotiator, Edita Tahiri tried again to confuse the public, inventing unconvincing excuses for non-implementation of the agreement on the establishment of the A/CSM.  "With invented excuses Tahiri tried to hide the fact that the deadline for all actions envisaged by the agreement on the establishment of the Association / Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM) has been breached, long time ago.

Belgrade conditions agreements with establishment of Association/Community (RFE)

Authorities in Belgrade insist the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities is established in accordance to the Brussels agreement and not the Constitution of Kosovo, reported Radio Free Europe in Albanian. The agreement reached on 25 August last year as part of the dialogue for normalisation of relations between Pristina and Belgrade grants the Association/Community a level of autonomy in education, health, urban and rural planning.

Tahiri: Agreement on ADR certificates enters into force today (Zeri)

Kosovo Minister without portfolio, Edita Tahiri, said on Monday that the agreement reached with Serbia on mutual recognition of ADR (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) has entered into force as of today. According to this agreement, all carriers from Kosovo through ADR certificates issued by the relevant institutions of Kosovo , will deliver the trading activities with neighboring country Serbia, said Tahiri. She added further that this allows the removal of obstacles that Serbia has introduced to transport companies in Kosovo for nearly more than eight months.

Pristina "cannot make the ZSO conditional on other agreements" (B92)

Pristina "cannot make the creation of the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) conditional."

This was announced by the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo, which added: "Especially not on telecommunications, the implementation of which has been hampered by Pristina's nonconstructive approach."

Previously, Edita Tahiri, who serves in the Kosovo government, said that the ZSO will not be set up before Kosovo receives a dial code.

Kosovo’s dialogue minister Edita Tahiri said the statement of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic that Trepca mine belongs to Serbia is part of his election campaign. “The media know that in time of campaigns, there are illusionary statements made for political marketing aims,” Tahiri said in an interview.  Tahiri dismissed possibility of the Trepca mine ownership issue being discussed in the EU-facilitated dialogue with Belgrade saying that this is one of Pristina’s red lines. “Our position on Trepca and other Kosovo state assets has been made clear in Brussels.

Serbia to begin recognising Kosovo-issued diplomas (Kosovapress)

Officials from the cabinet of the Kosovo minister without portfolio and chief negotiator in the EU-facilitated dialogue with Belgrade, Edita Tahiri, said that authorities in Serbia are expected to begin recognising education diplomas issued in Kosovo as of 1 April. Arjeta Rexha, advisor to Tahiri, said that in the recent negotiations in Brussels the parties pledged to begin implementation of agreements reached five years ago on mutual recognition of diplomas. Rexhaj explained that all outstanding diplomas will be recognised by relevant authorities within a three-month timeframe.
