The ZSO Management Team with the Dean of the Faculty of Law in Mitrovica North (KIM radio)

The members of the Menagement Team for the establishment of the Community/Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO) met with the Dean of the Law Faculty of Pristina University with a temporary headquarters in North Mitrovica, Vladan Mihajlovic, reports Serbian media based in Kosovo.

According to the announcement, the meeting discussed the structure and content of the Draft Statute of the ZSO and other legal aspects related to the drafting of this document.

The United States and Western countries have submitted a plan to solve the Kosovo problem to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, writes daily Blic.

The paper says that the plan is "better for Serbia than all of the previous ones, but still unacceptable to Vucic."

Support to the team for drafting the Statute of the ZSO (Vecernje Novosti, Kossev)

The Management Team for the drafting the Statute of the Community/Association of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) held on Monday its first meeting with legal experts in local self-government, reported Serbian media. On Monday, the Team members met the Mayors of northern municipalities and Dean of the Law faculty of University of Pristina based in North Mitrovica, Serbian media reported.

These experts were “delegated” by the four northern municipalities and the Faculty of Law in North Mitrovica.

Drecun: Insincere wish of Pristina to form ZSO (RTS)

The chairman of the Assembly's Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun, told RTS on Saturday that the way Albanians want to define the statute of the Community/Association of Serb municipalities (ZSO) is contrary to the Brussels agreement, adding that the question is what will be written in the Statute. If it is unacceptable to Belgrade, there is nothing of that, says Drecun.

“We won’t establish ZSO alone, we will wait” (TV N1, KIM Radio)

Assistant Director of the Serbian Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic said today during a meeting in Zvecan that Serbs would wait for three and a half months more to establish the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities.

In the meeting with Serb political representatives from Kosovo and members of the Management Team, Petkovic said Serbs need ZSO as it was agreed and signed in Brussels.

“We do not need ZSO that exists in Kosovo Constitution,” he emphasized, KIM Radio reported.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic met on Tuesday with Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Sem Fabrizi.

Fabrizi presented the Report of the European Commission on Serbia’s progress in the process of EU accession, the Serbian government announced on its website.

Scott and Stefanovic about ZSO and Brussels agreement (Tanjug, RTS)

USA Ambassador to Serbia, Kyle Scott thinks that question whether ZSO should be established in line with the Brussels agreement or Kosovo laws is contradictory, as according to him, Brussels agreement also says that what would be approved must be in line with Kosovo and Serbia’s laws, RTS reported.

USA supports steps made in the direction of establishing the ZSO, Scott said, adding he expects difficult negotiations, but thinks that recent happenings related to the ZSO are a step forward.

Djuric receives "friendly and brotherly support" in Moscow (B92)

Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric met in Moscow on Wednesday with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko.

Djuric briefed Grushko on the situation in Kosovo and efforts to find a compromise in the dialogue with Pristina in a peaceful manner, saying afterwards that he received "friendly and brotherly support for Serbia's independent domestic and foreign policy, as well as regarding Kosovo and all other matters significant for our country."
