Mustafa: Coalition with AAK, maybe after 2018 (Indeksonline)

Kosovo’s Prime Minister and leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Isa Mustafa, said today that for the time being his party is not open to a coalition with the Ramush Haradinaj-led Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK). “Maybe this can happen after the general elections in 2018,” Mustafa said during a visit to Klina municipality.

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, said in an interview for RTK, that he had addressed President Jahjaga regarding the demarcation of the border between Kosovo and Montenegro, convinced that there were violations during the process. The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, told the news site the opposition is discussing the possibility of going to parliamentary elections with a joint list, but added that the AAK is also preparing to enter elections alone. Haradinaj stressed that the protest scheduled for 26 March which was later canceled, should be held, because it was the will of the citizens. "Soon we will invite citizens for the next protest,” he said. According to Haradinaj, boycotting the Assembly was another form of opposing the government.

Kosovo leaders react to Brussels terror attacks (media)

Kosovo’s leaders have reacted after a series of explosions struck the Brussels airport and the metro system this morning. Kosovo President-elect Hashim Thaci took to Twitter writing “shocking news coming in from Brussels today. My sincere condolences to the families of all the victims”. Prime Minister Isa Mustafa sent a telegram note condemning the terrorist acts and expressing the readiness of the Kosovo government to continue the fight against terror.

Haradinaj: AAK will not take part in the Assembly work during this mandate (Koha)

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) Ramush Haradinaj said the Assembly of Kosovo has lost its credibility and added that Kosovo needs to head to elections. “Such a parliament deserves to be dissolved and for the country to go to elections. AAK is not part of this parliament,” said Haradinaj stressing that the decision is final.

The three leaders of the opposition bloc, Vetevendosje’s Visar Ymeri, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) leader Ramush Haradinaj and Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) leader Fatmir Limaj told reporters in Pristina today that starting at 14:00 the opposition will begin its non-stop protest against the government. Ymeri said: “Today we are starting our non-stop protest against this anti-constitutional regime. The protest will go on until the downfall of this government”.

Haradinaj: Early elections are the solution (Koha)

Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), made another public call today for early parliamentary elections as a solution to the current crisis. “The government cannot pretend as if nothing happened and continue to improvise and to defend its positions, because this is no longer possible. There is only one way to emerge from the current crisis and that is elections … Those that love this country should not be late in responding to this challenge,” Haradinaj was quoted as saying.
