Chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun told Serbian media he does not believe Pristina would resolve the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.

Drecun said he does not believe Pristina “would come out with real information” which, according to him would close the room for speculations.

He also commented on the statement of the Kosovo President Hashim Thaci that the murder is not ethnically motivated, saying Thaci could say something like that only after the investigation is concluded, Serbian media reported.

I would come to the meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, on 30 January with a group of reputable Kosovo Serbs who were brave enough to accept this challenge, Momcilo Trajkovic politician from Kosovo and leader of the Serb Resistance Movement, told Danas daily.

Former KLA commander and Deputy Minister of the Security Forces of Kosovo Agim Ceku told RTV Kim in the TV Show ''Dogovor!?'' that he is ready to defend himself before the Special Court, in case he would be one of the war crimes suspects, reports KIM radio portal.

Advisor to the Kosovo President Blerim Shala told the RTK2, (the Show "Poglavlje" (Chapter)), that "the momentum of the historic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia must be defined," and that there must be a time limit for the talks.

"In principle, we have to agree that something that remained, we have to end once and for all".

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic and NATO Deputy Secretary General, Rose Gottemoeller spoke in Belgrade yesterday about mutual political dialogue, practical co-operation and forthcoming meeting between the Serbian President and the NATO Secretary General, Politika daily reported.

Belgrade based daily Danas writes today, based on unofficial diplomatic sources, that the United States and Germany are considering who will be their envoys in the next phase of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and that it is expected that the decision on their names would be made and disclosed in a month time.

BELGRADE (Reuters) - Serbia's foreign minister and a top ally of President Aleksandar Vucic has suggested a compromise to end a conflict over Kosovo, the newest independent European state that is blocking Serbia's hopes of European Union membership.

Serbia, where many regard Kosovo as the cradle of their nation and Orthodox Christian faith, refuses to recognize the independence of its former Southern province and has been blocking its membership in organizations including Interpol and UNESCO.

Belgraders have chosen to name the boulevard connecting the Ada Bridge with the Tosin Bunar neighborhood after the heroes of the Battle of Kosare, Tanjug news agency reported.

Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali announced the results of the voting, and noted that he was "very glad that the memory of those great heroes will be preserved in that way."

Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic stated to Tanjug that in addition to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, internal dialogue about Kosovo is also important.

“Regardless the talks hold in Brussels, it is important to have a dialogue within our society, a dialogue between different social and scientific actors,” Dacic said.

It should offer a platform to exchange opinions about what would be the best solution for Kosovo.
