Rašić: The call of Prime Minister Mustafa not serious (KIM radio)

Member of the Parliament of Kosovo Nenad Rašić believes that voting for the ratification of the agreement on the demarcation with Montenegro cannot happen during the next week, adding that Mustafa’s call to Serbs to return to institutions is not serious.

Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa has announced that the agreement on demarcation with Montenegro will be submitted to the Parliament for ratification in a few days. MPs of the Serbian List will not attend the session.

Serbia submitted additional documents to the court in Colmar (KIM radio)

The Serbian Justice Ministry forwarded the Court of Appeal in France two days ago additional documents regarding the request for extradition of Ramush Haradinaj, Tanjug learned from the Ministry of Justice.

Documentation of over 100 pages forwarded to the French court at the initiative of the Ministry of Justice.

Rakić: We will not tolerate unilateral actions of the municipality South Mitrovica (Kontakt plus radio)

North Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakić said today that setting up the street names in the Albanian language in Suvi Do/Suhidoll was illegal and unacceptable, and he recalled that the municipality of Mitrovica North and South have not signed the memorandum on delimitation.

Rakić also said that the relevant ministries would put pressure on the South Mitrovica municipal authorities in order to stop these activities, which he has strongly condemned.

 

 

The names of the streets in the Albanian language appeared in Suvi Do/Suhodoll (TV Most, KIM radio)

President of the local community in Suvi Do/Suhodoll Mićo Kragović says that the Albanians have set up the street signs late the night before.

He adds that the Serbs from this village are outraged and very upset by this move of neighbours and perceive this as pressure and the first step towards the ethnic cleansing of Serbs from this village, which, as he points out, for years are struggling to survive despite many pressures.

Thaçi: Kosovo is ready to cooperate with the Bosniaks (KIM radio)

Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi met with the delegation of the Bosniak National Council of Sandžak, led by Sulejman Ugljanin. The meeting discussed the possibilities of cooperation and coordination between the Albanian community in the Preševo Valley and Bosniak in Sandžak, but also about improvement of their rights.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi said that he was familiar with the position of the Bosniak community in Sandžak, and their representation in local and central institutions.

On Thursday a decision on the Serbia's request for the extradition of Haradinaj (Kontakt plus radio)

The Court of Appeal in the French city of Colmar on Thursday, March 2, to announce in a public session a decision on Serbia's request for the extradition of Ramush Haradinaj on suspicion that he committed war crimes in Kosovo, Tanjug learns from the court.

The Court in Colmar has three options in its decision making, a spokeswoman of the court Sandra di Rosa told Tanjug.

Serbian language in Kosovo compromised by the institution (KIM radio)

Most of central institutions in Pristina send invitations and announcements exclusively in Albanian language to Serbian media in Kosovo, thereby violating the Law on Use of Languages, according to which the Serbian language is one of the two official languages. Most of the documents issued by different departments are in incorrectly written Serbian language.
