PM Brnabic again warns of humanitarian catastrophe in Kosovo (Serbian Government, B92)

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said in Prague on Monday that the Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija are in danger of facing a humanitarian catastrophe. Brnabic spoke after her meeting with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, and added that the region should return to where it was before Pristina's measures, the Serbian Government said.

Haradinaj: Kosovo is champion; Djuric: More like black hole (Tanjug, B92)

Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj claims that Kosovo can boast of respecting human rights of each community. Also, Haradinaj said, Kosovo has a tendency to be "a real champion" in their protection and promotion.

Shortly afterwards, Serbian Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric reacted, saying that on International Human Rights Day, the so-called Kosovo is a "black hole" where basic human rights of Serbs, (ethnic) Albanians and other communities in the field of economy, politics, free flow of people, goods and capital are not in force.

"Normalization possible despite current difficulties" (BETA, B92)

Federica Mogherini says she is still convinced that the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue could go on despite the current difficulties. EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said this in Brussels on Monday, Beta agency reported.

Mogherini also thinks that the two sides were able to reach a legally binding agreement to normalize their relations, but said it was up to Belgrade and Pristina, not Brussels.

Djuric urged international community to react (Danas, RTS)

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director, Marko Djuric urged the international community to react and do something regarding Pristina’s acts “before it is too late,” Danas daily reports.

“What Pristina is doing is a one-way ticket for the catastrophe of the both, Albanians and Serbs, and it is necessary that someone from the international community finally does something before it is too late,” Djuric told RTS commenting on the statement of Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj on possible new measures against Serbia.

Solution to Kosovo problem throws a shadow at other important issues (Danas, FoNet, N1)

Norwegian ambassador to Belgrade, Arne Sannes Bjørnstad, told the Belgrade Danas daily on Friday that Serbia’s membership to the European Union did not depend only on a solution to the Kosovo issue, but also on the rule of law and media reforms, the FoNet news agency reported.

Madagascar revokes recognition of Kosovo (Tanjug, B92)

The (Democratic) Republic of Madagascar has informed the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs that it has revoked the decision to recognize Kosovo.

"We have received a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Madagascar, informing us that the decision was made on December 5," First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic told Tanjug on Friday.

Dacic pointed out that Madagascar is the 12th country to withdraw recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo.

Lavrov: Kosovo - a question mark of the EU's reputation (B92, Sputnik, www.efsyn.gr)

The strengthening of the presence of NATO and the EU in the Balkans leads to a deeper destabilization of Europe, Sergei Lavrov has said to the Greek daily Efimerida Syntakton, quotes portal B92.

The Russian foreign minister pointed out that Moscow is concerned about these aspirations.

Daily contacts agreed between the Army of Serbia and KFOR (RTS)

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg agreed in today's telephone conversation that the preservation of peace and stability is of the utmost interest to Serbia and the entire region, says the Serbian Presidency, reports Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

Lavrov: Brussels should not patronize Pristina (Tanjug, B92)

Moscow expects from Brussels to make Pristina fulfill its obligations deriving from the Brussels agreement and establish Community of Serb Municipalities, as well as not to patronize it, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, Tanjug news agency reported.

Russian Minister is participating in the 25th OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan, Italy.
