Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric, as a guest of talk show broadcasted on Radio-Television Vojvodina, said that the former head of the negotiating team for talks with Pristina Borko Stefanovic, in 2011 signed an agreement from which originate the problems we have these days with identity cards.

Kosovo Police last night received instruction to prevent entry to Kosovo to all persons with who have residence in Kosovo and holding Serbian identification documents issued by the Serbian Ministry of Interior, whereas the head of Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric said that there are speculations about it and that situation is closely followed at crossings. Tanjug learned that Kosovo Police did not start implementing this instruction yet at crossings Jarinje and Brnjak in northern Kosovo.

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric stated that "the EU negotiating platform for Chapter 35 on Kosovo does not require the recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of the southern Serbian province, but stated that difficult negotiations lie ahead of us."

Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric says that the fact that Serbia will open first Chapter 35, about Kosovo, does not mean that the EU accession process and the dialogue with Pristina should be mixed.

Djuric told B92 that the false belief that the talks with Pristina are important for Belgrade just because of EU accession, stating that they are important because of internal stability and the status of citizens in Kosovo.

Marko Djuric, the director of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija, said that media in Pristina have focused on blaming Serbs for the attacks in the village Gorazdevac, a Serb enclave in Peć/Pejë municipality.

Several news sites report on what they call “latest provocation by Serbia vis-a-vis Kosovo, namely its attempt to appropriate the Sharr national park”. After claiming that it owns the Gazivoda Lake in the northern part of Kosovo, Serbia is now also claiming ownership over the Sharr national park, with around 23,000 hectares. Slavko Simic, leader of the Serbian List, paid a separate visit to the village of Gorazdevac on Monday and not as part of a delegation led by Marko Djuric, head of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo. One day after the incident when shots were fired at several Serb houses and a monument was demolished, Simic is calling for a local solution in order to protect the village. The leader of the Serbian List is thus holding a position different from that of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic. “I dont expect the international community to act on this.

Several houses, vehicles and a memorial site were shot at early on Monday in the Serb village of Gorazdevac in Kosovo. Nobody was injured during the incidents.

Minister for Return and Communities in the Kosovo government Dalibor Jevtic told Tanjug that the incidents happened around three o'clock in the morning local time (CET) and that two cars were damaged. According to him, attackers shot five times at the home of the five-member Petrovic family. One bullet was recovered in the bathroom.

The director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Đurić, said that no one should expect Serbia to change its position with regard to the status of its southern province, however he argues that Belgrade and Pristina have considerable room for settling issues of a joint interests and creation of lasting stability in that region.

Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric stated that Serbia is interested in restoring the flights between Belgrade and Pristina after 16 years, adding that the issue of establishing air traffic between the two cities is different and separate issue from the control over the lower airspace.
