"Vucic and Thaci invited, EU expects full implementation..." (B92)

The EU expects full implementation of all Belgrade-Pristina dialogue agreements, including the one to establish the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO).

This has been stated by European Commission spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic on the eve of a new round of technical dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina delegations, which begins later in the afternoon in Brussels and will last until Wednesday.

Dacic: Albanians and some in intl. community are lying to Vucic (B92, RTS)

Ivica Dacic says he, bearing in mind his experience, believes that a part of the international community and Albanians from Kosovo are lying to President Vucic, reports B92 portal, quoting Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

The First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister told RTS that the Albanians do not want compromise, but only recognition (of Kosovo). "There is no blackmail that can force Serbia to recognize an independent Kosovo," he said.

Vucic and Thaci met in Sofia, talked about continuing talks (BETA)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said that he met with Kosovo President Hashim Thaci in Sofia on Thursday, BETA news agency reported.

According to Vucic, they discussed "continuing the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and solving the historical dispute between Serbs and Albanians."

President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker would conclude his Balkans tour in Sofia today, where a meeting with the Western Balkans leaders, including the Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is planned, RTS reports.

EU High Representative Federica Mogherini would also attend the gathering. RTS further said, the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is very important for the stability in the Balkans and as it was announced, President Vucic would speak with Hashim Thaci on the margins of gathering in Sofia.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says it is more logical for the US and the UK to withdraw their recognition of Kosovo - than for Russia to recognize it.

President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has urged MPs to vote in favour of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro. In a Facebook post, Thaci said the pro-vote would break Kosovo’s isolation for good and set a new momentum for Kosovo’s European integration. “The vote for ratification of demarcation is a vote for the citizens’ freedom of movement in the Schengen area, it is a vote for Kosovo in Europe. I therefore call on all parties to respect the will of all citizens, regardless of ethnic and religious background, to move freely.

Thaci: The right moment for the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina (N1)

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci said in an interview the regional broadcaster N1 that Kosovo has successfully passed international monitoring of independence.

"EULEX was needed and it did a good job, just as NATO does a great job. But now, apart from having international organizations in Kosovo, Kosovo will be part of international organizations, including NATO and the EU," Thaci said.
