Thaci: Kosovo interested in fostering relations with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (RTK)

President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, met in New York Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Vincent and Grenadines, Sir Louis Straker and said Kosovo has managed to consolidate its international status and is gradually becoming fully integrated into the international community. “Our country has been recognised by 114 sovereign countries and is a member of more than 60 organisations,” said Thaci adding that Kosovo would be interested in establishing diplomatic relations with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy will be meeting the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci and that of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, by the end of this week. “This week, I will meet again with President Vucic and President Thaci in order to move forward with the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina,” Mogherini said while addressing the EU ambassadors in Brussels. The meeting is expected to be held on 31 August.
