Kosovo Assembly MP from the Serbian List, said during an extensive interview for lajmi.net that his party does not have a stance on creation of the army of Kosovo. He considers that this issue is not a priority. “We are far from any kind of discussions and there are absolutely minor chances to have discussions regarding the army in the future.
The minister of Justice, Dhurata Hoxha is expected to dismiss the managerial staff of the Detention Center in Prizren.
Sources of Klan Kosova said that this is expected to happen soon. The decision will be based on the findings of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Justice who drafted a report on Astrit Dehari’s death at this detention center.
The Minister of the Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Skënder Hyseni said today that he will use the 2017 to do anything that is possible for Kosovo’s membership at Interpol.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, said during today’s meeting of the government that Kosovo has fulfilled all the required criteria for visa liberalisation, except for the ratification of the draft-law on demarcation of the border with Montenegro.
Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Pal Lekaj, said that Kosovo has returned to a situation that resembles an administered and not governed state.

In today’s routine meeting, the government of Kosovo reviewed European integration agenda. Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci spoke about implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) and the criteria Kosovo has to meet in its path to joining the EU while Prime Minister Isa Mustafa underlined the importance of the reforms agenda and noted that implementation of SAA precedes Kosovo’s EU accession.
Besnik Berisha adviser to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, stated that the Law on Trepca cannot be contested by the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court.
In an announcement for the Radio Free Europe, Berisha said that the only competent institution to interpret eligibility of a law or of a bylaw is the Constitutional Court.

Today, the Commander of the EU’s Civilian Operations, Kenneth Deane, together with the EULEX chief Alexandra Papadopoulou met Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuçi.
They discussed the current mandate of EULEX and its continuous engagements for the rule of law in Kosovo.
The most recent report of the US State Department on human trafficking across the world categorized Kosovo as a source and destination country for men, women, and children subjected to sex trafficking and forced labor, including in the restaurant industry. It stated that most sex trafficking victims in Kosovo are girls and that they are subjected to sex trafficking in private homes and apartments, night clubs, and massage parlors.
