Demiri claims that Ministry of Local Government was promised to Group 6+ (gazetaexpress)

Rasim Demiri, Deputy of the non-Serb minority communities, Group 6+, claims that representatives of the PDK-LDK coalition have promised to give them Ministry of Local Government.

Demiri stated for Express that this will be finalized today, after the meeting of the working groups of this coalition.

The economic hope (Kosova Sot)

The front page editorial of Kosova Sot newspaper addresses the economic problem that Kosovo is facing. The daily writes that this year, the official data show that the trade deficit will be over two billion euros, which shows Kosovo’s great dependence on imports, and the limited production capacity. Politicians have promised during the election campaign, that, if elected, they would support the local companies with funds. If this will be considered on the government program that is being drafted by coalition partners,  things can move forward.

The coalition agreement is postponed (Radio Kosova)

Sources within the coalition parties, Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) told Radio Kosova that the agreement for the new government is going to be delayed due to the outgoing Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, travelling to New York. Thaci will attend the meeting of the United Nations Security Council, which will present its quarterly report on Kosovo on 4 December, Radio Kosova reports.

Kosovo Serbs are waiting for a definitive agreement between PDK and LDK (Danas)

The latest coalition of Kosovar Albanians – the PDK and the LDK, of Hashim Thaci and Isa Mustafa has not yet started formal negotiations on the composition of the new government of Kosovo with representatives of the Kosovo Serbs, said to Danas, the presidents of the Serbian List and the Progressive Democratic Party (PDS) Aleksandar Jablanovic and Nenad Rasic. The leaders of the PDK and the LDK so far had only informal contacts with the Serbian List, which has nine, and with the PDS, which has one seat in the new parliament of Kosovo.

Isa Mustafa called Limaj to join the coalition with PDK (Zeri.info)

Zeri.info writes that Isa Mustafa, after the agreement to form a coalition with the Democrati Party of Kosovo (PDK), invited Fatmir Limaj [leader of NISMA political party] to join the coalition. However, the website portal writes that Bilall Sherfi, member of NISMA political party, said that Limaj refused such request and that the party has decided to stay in opposition. Jahjaga pressured Thaci and Mustafa, the agreement should be closed next week (Gazeta Blic)

When Hashim Thaci, leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), and Isa Mustafa, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), met with Kosovo’s President, Atifete Jahjaga three days ago, the latter had expected that they had already resolved everything and the Assembly session would be held within 48 hours, writes GazetaBlic. But it did not happen. Presidency sources told Gazeta Blic that Jahjaga was surprised when Mustafa said that they needed time - almost two weeks, in order to compile the program and make the selection of ministers of the two parties.
