In the coming days, KoSSev will introduce a who is who in the Kosovo Serb political landscape. Here we present the Kosovo Serb Party (Partija kosovskih Srba) – one of the three parties representing Kosovo Serbs that registered to participate in Kosovo parliamentary elections on October 6, KoSSev portal reports. The Kosovo Serb Party submitted a list of 12 MP candidates to the CEC on Friday that are set to compete for a seat in the seventh convocation of the Kosovo Assembly.

Representatives of the Serbian List have protested the decision of the Central Election Commission to prevent voters from voting with Serbian documents in early parliamentary elections in Kosovo on October 6, reported all Serbian media.

The Serbian List sent letters to the international missions in Pristina because of the CEC decision, saying that it was a violation of the law and asked to rectify this unilateral decision.

“Srpska Lista is a force that brings together our people in Kosovo and Metohija and does not need to use any dirty tricks to regain the trust of voters, which was repeatedly confirmed,” SL said reacting to the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) leader Slobodan Petrovic’s statement about the pressure exerted on opponents of Srpska Lista, Radio Mitrovica sever reports. The opposition Alliance for Serbia (SzS) said today it will not take part “in the fake elections in Kosovo and Metohija, same as in the rest of Serbia,” KoSSev portal reports today. The Alliance further said that in Kosovo “there were neither minimal conditions for free and fair elections, nor for equal presentation of the programe and ideas”. A member of Kosovo Central Election Commission (CEC) Stevan Veselinovic left the CEC session after it decided that all documents of the voters in the early parliamentary elections on October 6 had to be issued by Pristina, BETA news agency reports on Tuesday.
