Dacic: Countries can't be Serbia's partners and work against us (B92, Tanjug)

Serbia sticks to its policy, and everyone thinking to the contrary must decide whether they're our friends and partners, or will work against Serbia.

Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said this on Thursday, on the occasion of media reports that reported on France planning to send protest notes to countries that withdrew their recognition of Kosovo's self-proclaimed independence.

Greece won't recognize Kosovo, Athens office not diplomatic (B92)

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias said in Belgrade on Wednesday that his country will not recognize Kosovo.

Kotzias explained that the trade office of Kosovo in Athnes will not be a diplomatic office.

"That's neither been agreed, nor envisaged," he told a joint news conference with Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic.

Vecernje Novosti write today that Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told TV Prva that Kosovo has no chance to become a member of the UNESCO, and that an increasing number of countries are considering withdrawing recognition.

Commenting the statement of the Serbian ambassador to UNESCO that Kosovo has less chance of becoming a member of that organization than in 2015 Dacic said to TV Prva that this was the result of a "strenuous activity".

Belgrade offers to host a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump in Belgrade, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told Sputnik.

"Serbia offers to hold a publicly announced meeting of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in Belgrade," the minister said.

Dacic added that Belgrade is ready to "host a meeting that is important for the whole world."

"UN chair for Kosovo lurks behind US package" (B92, Vecernje Novosti, Blic)

The US "package" for Kosovo will put Serbia and President Aleksandar Vucic in "a very delicate position."

That's according to Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti, which adds that "the package" could be presented to Serbian officials on Wednesday, when US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell will visit Pristina, and then Belgrade.

Dacic: Albanians and some in intl. community are lying to Vucic (B92, RTS)

Ivica Dacic says he, bearing in mind his experience, believes that a part of the international community and Albanians from Kosovo are lying to President Vucic, reports B92 portal, quoting Radio Television of Serbia (RTS).

The First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister told RTS that the Albanians do not want compromise, but only recognition (of Kosovo). "There is no blackmail that can force Serbia to recognize an independent Kosovo," he said.
