Leader of People’s Party Vuk Jeremic said Serbia does not have to choose between Kosovo and EU, as Serbia’s membership to the EU is not feasible in near future, Serbian media reported

Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric met in Moscow on Wednesday with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandr Grushko.

Djuric briefed Grushko on the situation in Kosovo and efforts to find a compromise in the dialogue with Pristina in a peaceful manner, saying afterwards that he received "friendly and brotherly support for Serbia's independent domestic and foreign policy, as well as regarding Kosovo and all other matters significant for our country."

All diplomatic representatives of Russia have been instructed to express their concern over the recent events in Kosovo.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met yesterday with United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres in New York, Serbian media reported.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday thanked his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic for their constructive talks that took place in Moscow.

Serbia is against the establishment of the so-called Kosovo army and has strong legal grounds for such stance, Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Director, Marko Djuric told the SRNA news agency.

The President of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman has spoken decisively against Catalonia's independence, as it would "open Pandora's box and start a chain reaction," Serbian media reported.
