Protesters urinate inside Serbian church (Akter, KIM radio, RTK2, B92, Tanjug)

Kosovo's Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic condemned on Sunday in the strongest terms the desecration of the Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Pristina.

The Serbian Orthodox church was desecrated by a group of protesters during Saturday's opposition riots in Pristina.

Stojanovic said the behaviour was shameful and uncivilized and that it was unacceptable that police watched the protesters who have entered the church, and did nothing.

We expect that Constitutional Court will confirm the constitutionality of the Agreement on A/CSM (RTK2)

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic said in an interview for RTK2 that his expectations are that decision on Association / Community of Serb municipalities (A/CSM) will be brought as soon as possible. Stojanović expects that the Constitutional Court of Kosovo will confirm that an agreement on the formation of the A/CSM is in accordance with the Kosovo Constitution. In opposite situation, the Brussels led dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia could be jeopardized.

Stojanovic: Nothing in Kosovo happens by chance (RTS)

Albanians should take responsibility for the security of Serbs and they should stop looking for excuses for the perpetrators that have not been found, said yesterday Deputy Kosovo Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic.

Stojanovic told the RTS that the atmosphere is such that many radical elements want to raise the temperature to the boiling point.

Then, according to him, the most vulnerable people suffer who live in remote settlements, far away from the Serbian municipalities.

Stojanovic informed Kerry about problems of Serbs in Kosovo (RTK2)

US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanović, who informed him about the problems and expectations of Serbs in Kosovo. "We had a comprehensive meeting with US Secretary Kerry. We talked about all problems, which bother the Serbs. I emphasized the most important issue for the Serbs in Kosovo – establishment of the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities and full implementation of the Brussels agreement.

Police is obliged to find perpetrators of the attacks (RTK2)

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Branimir Stojanovic strongly condemned the attack on the property of the director of the hospital in Gracanica municipality, Dr Nebojsa Milovanovic, and called on the authorities to find the perpetrators and bring them to the justice. "The police station in Gracanica is obliged to solve the case. I call on responsible people from this station not to act irresponsibly and indifferently, as it was the case in two recent attacks: on MP in Gracanica municipality and on president of Lipljan/Lipjan provisional body."

Serbs fear the new pogrom (Vecernje Novosti)

Until there is an on-going chaos on the streets of Pristina, because Albanian opposition parties launched battle against the establishment of ZSO by tear gas, pepper-spray and Molotov cocktails, representatives of Serbs in the province fear that unrest could spill over into areas where Serbs live. Therefore, they invite people to be cautious, and also urge all relevant institutions, including international, to stop the violence.

Serbs could leave the Kosovo government over failure to implement deal (B92)

Ahead of a final decision of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Belgrade is saying it has no intention of giving up on what was signed in Brussels.

Representatives of Serbs in Kosovo are announcing they could leave the government if the Community/Association of Serbian Municipalities (ZSO) is not formed.

Although Serbia has no alternative to dialogue, the possibility of breaking off the Kosovo talks is not being ruled out.
