Dacic and head of Serbian Interpol for Insajder: Kosovo in Interpol, danger of database abuse

The General Assembly of Interpol accepted the request of Pristina to consider Kosovo's application for membership in that international police organization in mid-November. Pristina officials believe that Kosovo will be the the 193th member of the Interpol the next month, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic says to the portal Insajder that that he does not think that they will he will have the necessary majority, and that together with the MUP, his ministry is doing everything to prevent the initiative of Pristina.

Vucic: Americans want to remove all traces of Resolution 1244 (B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Americans obviously have an aim to remove “the last traces of the UN Security Council Resolution 1244,” B92 reports today.

Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Director Marko Djuric said today that the United States intend to launch an exit strategy for the mandate of United Nations in Kosovo and Metohija, which he perceives as an initiative for the withdrawal of UNMIK mission from that territory, Serbian media reported.

Serbian Minister Popovic says Kosovo issue should return to UN (BETA, Tanjug, TV N1, Prva TV)

Serbian Minister without portfolio Nenad Popovic said on Tuesday that the time is right to take the Kosovo issue back to the United Nations after the European Union failed in its moderation efforts, Serbian media reported.

“The EU has failed as moderator in the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina and now is the right moment to return the Kosovo issue back where it belongs – the UN,” Popovic said in Moscow. He is part of the delegation that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has brought with him to the Russian capital.

UN explained presence of Thaci, Haradinaj and Pacolli in New York (Tanjug)

Pristina delegation comprising of Hashim Thaci, Ramush Haradinaj and Beghjet Pacolli, did not receive an invitation for the UN General Assembly session, Serbian media report.

UN Spokesperson Eri Kaneko said this, adding that representatives of Pristina authorities are staying in New York privately.

“They are not officially invited, the reasons are known, and in New York they can be only privately,” Kaneko said, refuting information by Pristina TV Klan Kosova, that reported Thaci takes part in the work of the General Assembly.

Dacic: I am interested to talk to those who recognized Kosovo (RTS, Tanjug)

Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said he is interested the most to talk with the countries that have recognized unilaterally declared Kosovo independence and to re-examine their decisions, RTS reports today.

“I am very pleased with how these talks are unfolding,” Dacic noted, adding he has said to the representatives of certain countries, having this in mind, soon Pristina and Tirana would be the only ones that recognize Kosovo.

Dacic: Political solution for Kosovo is national priority (RTS, Tanjug)

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic stated in New York that reaching a political solution to the Kosovo and Metohija issue is Serbian national priority, RTS reports today.

“By defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity, Serbia defends the international law, UN Charter, preservation of international peace and security, but also its national and historic identity, Dacic said in a Peace Summit, organized in honour of the centenary of the birth of Nelson Mandela, prior to the 73 session of the United Nations General Assembly.
