“Problems of Serbs and Albanians to resolve in dialogue” (KIM Radio)

Peace and co-existence have no alternative and all the issues standing on the way towards a better future between Serbs and Albanians should be resolved in dialogue, outgoing Minister for Communities and Returns, Dalibor Jevtic said during the meeting with a head of the French Foreign Ministry Department for continental Europe, Florence Mangin, KIM Radio reports. Jevtic noted that frozen conflict or conflict of any kind is not a solution, therefore dialogue has no alternative and should be supported at all levels.

Serbia will not lodge a protest with France over the displaying of the flag of Kosovo at the Notre-Dame cathedral, said Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.

Dacic explained the absence of any official reaction of Belgrade by the announced visit to Serbia by the French president. "Bearing in mind the upcoming visit by Emmanuel Macron, the first visit of a French president to Serbia after 18 years, it is my opinion is that this should be left for discussion," Dacic told Belgrade-based daily Politika.

Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti writes on Wednesday that the UK, USA, France and Sweden are trying to keep any story about Kosovo, including Pristina's steps towards the formation of an 'army', away from the UN Security Council.

According to the daily, these four countries try to prevent including of the discussion on Kosovo' situation into agenda of the next session of the Council, scheduled for 8th November.

France, like Germany, is against the "delimitation" between Belgrade and Pristina, reports today Belgrade based daily Vecernje Novosti.

Vecernje Novosti sources point out that the opposition was expressed to any change in borders or administrative lines in the region during a conference of ambassadors held last week, which was attended by French President Emmanuel Macron.
