Germany has "special plan for Western Balkans" (B92, Vecernje Novosti)

Germany has prepared "a special program for the Western Balkans" - as compensation for the long wait of the region's countries to join the EU, writes a daily.

Citing diplomatic sources, Vecernje Novosti is reporting that Berlin has prepared a "mini Marshall Plan" for the Balkans, which should over the next few years boost the economies in the region.

Vucic responded to Thaci's "provocation" – report (B92, Blic)

A summit in Slovenia was marked by Hashim Thaci's provocation and Aleksandar Vucic's reply, while Blic is reporting what the Serbian president told Thaci.

The daily recalls that the strongly-worded discussion occurred behind the scenes, after the Kosovo president addressed the gathering and said, among other things, that Serbia is "not ready for the EU because it does not recognize Kosovo."

Dačić: Government to continue to fight for sovereignty, integrity (B92)

The government will "continue to fight to preserve sovereignty and territorial integrity," First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dačić said on Monday, reports Belgrade based B92 portal.

Dačić said during the marking of Serbian Diplomacy Day in Belgrade that Serbia remains commitment to EU integration, good neighbourly relations, and military neutrality.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini's informal dinner with prime ministers of the Western Balkan Six was held in Brussels late on Wednesday.

All present confirmed their full commitment to continue working for the European Union integration process, as confirmed by the EU at the March 2017 European Council, a statement published on the EEAS website said.

KFOR: US is not sending more soldiers to Kosovo (B92, RTS, Blic)

KFOR command in Pristina has announced that new US troops in Kosovo will replace soldiers whose mandate had expired.

A statement said that the upcoming deployment of US soldiers represents regular handover of duties between two contingents from the United States, which are being rotated, not an additional contribution by the United States, RTS reported.
