Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that stands of Serbia and Albania over Kosovo are very much different but he will not allow that this huge gap destroys the opportunity for overcoming divisions from the past.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic addressed the participants of the Vienna Economic Forum held today in Tirana, after the host, the Prime Minister of Albanian, Edi Rama, and said that the appeal for the EU assistance and support has to be a joint one.

Beside Vucic and Rama, prime ministers of Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo were present as well.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said today in Tirana that states of the region expect from the European Union better and bigger assistance, and if it is not possible than Europe should say so in order that we try to make it in our own ways.

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, posted on his Facebook page the picture where the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa and the Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, are shaking hands. Rama called the picture “Photo of the Day.”

This shaking of hands happened at the Vienna Economic Forum which is being held in Tirana.

TIRANA, Albania (AP) — In a major policy shift, the Serbian prime minister said his country will accept U.S. calls to reduce dependency on Russian gas by adding an American-backed pipeline that would bring gas to Europe from Azerbaijan.
"Regarding energy safety, energy security, we are ready to diversify the sources of gas for Serbia, which is very important for our American friends as well," Aleksandar Vucic told The Associated Press in an interview.

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has said that his visit to Albania, where he met with top officials, was "good for the future of the two peoples and countries."

Differences that were expressed in talks are evident, he said, adding that "the two have bravely initiated a process that could only bring prosperity."

The Prime Minister of Albania, stated at the press conference after his meeting with Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, that Albanians in the south of Serbia deserve to have the same treatment as Serbs in northern Kosovo. “I believe that this is in the spirit of our joint effort to achieve on the relations of the region with the power of example and not with the example of power. I have never heard about any complaint from Serbs who live in Albania.

Hashim Thaci's announcement about "a genocide lawsuit" is aimed primarily "at spoiling the visit of PM Aleksandar Vucic to Tirana," says Aleksandar Vulin.

"Whoever knows the policy of the Kosovo Albanians, knows that they never say such things accidentally and that they very rarely speak from their own heads. The policy of the Kosovo Albanians is similar to that drone - always shooting from someone else's hands," the labor minister told Tanjug.

Provincial Committee of DSS (Democratic Party of Serbia), Dveri movement, the Association of the Serbian-Slavic solidarity “Gregori Stepanovic Ščerbin” in Kosovska Mitrovica and the Citizens’ Movement “Stara Srbija” from Gracanica reacted to the announcement of the media that the platform of the President of Serbia was completed and that it is in the hands of Prime Minister of Serbia.

The unresolved murder of the Bytyqi brothers is an obstacle in relations between Serbia and the U.S.

They were U.S. citizens whose bodies were found in a mass grave in Petrovo Selo.

So far, no government has managed to identify and punish the perpetrators of the murder of the Bytyqi brothers, and the current government announces the solving of this problem.

Speaking for TV B92 Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that one of the foreign policy priorities is better relations with the United States. As one of the two obstacles he cited the unsolved Bytyqi case.
