The long awaited Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (Politika)

According to the Brussels agreement, Pristina was obliged to approve the Statute of the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM) until 25 December last year. However, so far, was not written even single letter of the Statute.  From the last meeting between Vučić and Mustafa held in January, Serbs from Kosovo are not closer to the A/CSM even for a millimetre. Meanwhile Pristina, step by step, fortify the self-proclaimed independence. Kosovo was admitted in UEFA, FIFA, and is on the way to receive visa free regime with EU.

Stojanović: The negotiation process will define Statute of the A/CSM (Večernje Novosti, RTK2)

Branimir Stojanović, Deputy Prime Minister, said that the negotiating process would define Statute of the Association/Community of Serb municipalities in detail, and therefore the jurisdiction of the A/CSM.

All that we can hear now in connection to the A/CSM are only wishes and ideas of some sides, Stojanović said.

"The A/CSM will have no executive powers" (VoA)

The Association/Community of Serb municipalities will be formed soon and will have no executive powers; it will be an institution for the provision of services to citizens, said yesterday European Parliament rapporteur for Kosovo Ulrike Lunacek in Pristina. She also said that now Pristina should meet as soon as possible the three main conditions for visa abolition with regard to the European Commission's recommendation for visa liberalization for Kosovo.

Thaci: Kosovo will fulfill all visa liberalization requirements (Klan Kosova)

Kosovo's President, Hashim Thaci, met today with a European Parliament delegation that will participate in the EU-Kosovo meeting on the implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA). During the meeting, Thaci said that Kosovo will fulfill all visa liberalization requirements set by the EU, including the establishment of the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities in compliance with the Constitution of Kosovo, as well as the ratification of the agreement on border-demarcation with Montenegro.

Maric: Membership of Kosovo in UEFA and FIFA is political decision (RTS)

Minister for Local Government Administration in Kosovo, Ljubomir Maric, told RTS that after violations of the UEFA Statute and admission of Kosovo into this organization, it was expected that the next step was its admission to FIFA. In regards to the statement of Isa Mustafa that the format of the talks will be reconsidered, Maric said that such statements indicate a problem of Kosovo authorities, which is the implementation of the agreements of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Stojanovic: Pristina running away from problems (Tanjug)

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Branimir Stojanovic stated yesterday that behavior of Pristina, in relation to introduction of a ban on the use of Serbian IDs by Kosovo residents, along with other measures, is an effort aimed at shifting the focus of the general public from important topics, such as creation of the Association/Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and the beginning of work of the Special Court for the Kosovo Liberation Army war crimes.

Djuric: A/CSM will not divide people and territories (KiM radio)

Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric said that the Association / Community of Serb Municipalities (A/CSM) will be formed and it will not divide people and territory. "Community is a guarantee of the survival of Serbs in Kosovo, and it will not take away the rights of anyone, neither will it decide the rights of others. A/CSM does not aim to divide people and territory, but to give more rights to the Serbs," said Djuric in an interview with TV Top Channel in Tirana.

Hodzic: A/CSM is a body for the protection of Serbs (RTK2)

Executive Director of the municipal administration in North Mitrovica Adriana Hozić said in a talk show broadcasted on RTK2 that the aim of the formation of the Association / Community of Serbian municipalities (A/CSM) is the creation of a body that will defend the national interests of the Serbian community in Kosovo.

Director of the Military Security Agency (VBA) Petar Cvetkovic said that there is no information that terrorist attacks in Serbia are being prepared or organized, but that does not preclude the possibility of individual actions. The threat derives from returnees from the battlefields of Syria and Iraq, bearing in mind that the majority of them have participated in combat operations and went through a process of intense religious indoctrination.
