Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to visit Beijing in April (BETA, TV N1, Tanjug, B92)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has received a letter from Chinese President Xi Jinping. The Chinese leader "expressed readiness to work with him on further improvement of the strategic partnership between the two countries," Tanjug news agency reported, quoting the president's press office.

According to a press release, at Xi's invitation, Vucic will attend the 2nd international Belt and Road Forum in Beijing on April 25-27.

Bakir Izetbegovic, president of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), told Voice of America that he believes that in case Serbia recognizes Kosovo's independence, all radars will turn to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Izetbegovic commented on the possible outcome of Belgrade-Pristina relations, but also the relationship between BiH and Kosovo, and sees the only link between Kosovo and BiH in that "the same side that has done the violence against Albanians on Kosovo, and in BiH against the Bosniaks ".

Vucic: EU to additionally influence Pristina (Tanjug, RTS)

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met today with Head of European Delegation in Serbia, Sem Fabrizi and conveyed him expectation that the EU would invest additional efforts in order to influence Pristina to revoke unilateral actions that bring peace and stability in the region into jeopardy, RTS reports.

“There is a need for lasting agreement. We are ready to continue talks with Pristina, when tariffs are revoked,” President Vucic said. He added that Belgrade is ready to find a compromise solution, and there is no alternative to the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Dacic met Deputy FM of Venezuela Gil (Serbian Government, B92)

First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic received on Tuesday Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister of Venezuela Yvan Gil.

Dacic told Gil that Serbia’s and Venezuela’s relations are characterized by a long friendship, reflected in mutual support on the international plan, expressing appreciation for the country's principled position (non-recognition) on Kosovo and Metohija, as well as voting against the so-called Kosovo in Interpol and UNESCO.

Jeremic also underlined “how something that National Assembly is not informed about, let even decided about it, can become a state policy?”

Ljajic: Serbian goods arrive to Kosovo through alternative routes (Danas, RTS)

Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic says to Radio Television of Serbia that throughout Kosovo there are Serbian goods, which arrive there through alternative roads, reported Belgrade based daily Danas.

Ljajic recalled that Serbian officials promptly warned of the development of the black market immediately after the introduction of a tax.
