Serwer: USA expects Kosovo recognition, Germany full normalization and Russia destabilization (Blic)

Washington supports independent and sovereign Kosovo within existing borders, and EU mediation in resolving the issues. However, in order to strengthen Kosovo sovereignty, USA wants Kosovo to join the UN, and when conditions are met an EU as well.

This is according to American expert for the Balkans, Daniel Serwer. He further told Blic daily Washington wants full normalization of Belgrade-Pristina relations, which implies mutual recognitions and the exchange of ambassadors.

Serbia should not leave the Brussels agreement, however, it should insist to know the time-frame of its implementation, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said in a show “Upitnik” aired on RTS.

“Pubic must understand that a dialogue on technical matters is currently being held, while a dialogue on permanent solution has not even started, since Pristina does not want such talks,” Dacic said.

Minister thinks frozen Kosovo conflict is bad idea (RTS, BETA, B92)

Minister Rasim Ljajic said today that "a frozen conflict" is not a solution to the Kosovo issue, but rather a postponement of one.

Proponents of 'a frozen conflict' say that international circumstances may change, so Serbia will then address the issue of Kosovo under more favorable conditions. What if international circumstances change to our detriment, and we are in a more difficult position? This is not a solution, it is a way to postpone resolving the Kosovo issue," Ljajic told RTS.

Regardless of the problems that exist around Kosovo, businessmen from Serbia have my support to go to Pristina to an economic fair, says Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

PM asked what Serbia intends to do on issue of Kosovo (B92, Tanjug)

PM Ana Brnabic said on Monday she would support Serbs in Kosovo in forming the Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO) if Pristina fails to do it.

"If Pristina doesn't want to respect its own obligations, of course - I will offer my full support to Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija to form the ZSO, and that will be during April," Brnabic told reporters.
